This is the best place that we ate out all week! Would absolutely recommend! We went on a Thursday evening and got a table for the 7 of us right away, as we sat most of the tables were filled up! Our server said that Tuesday night the had trivia night and were super packed. Started with stuffed mushrooms, cheese curds and southwest eggs rolls. So good!We ordered prime rib Philly sandwiches, which was the special, and they were outstanding! Others had chicken strips, which appear to be hand breaded. BBQ chicken pizza, cheese pizza, and burgers. For dessert we had the apple pie and chocolate chip cookie s’more. Very clean and updated decor. Service was excellent and fast. We might forget the other restaurants next year and come here a few time instead!

The food is amazing . We have loved everything we’ve ordered: mushrooms, green bean fries, egg rolls, steak, salad bar. Tonight was steak bites…amazing again!! Perfectly tender with horseradish & butter sauce goodness. The chef is my new favorite person

Everything was great except the rude bartender. She acted annoyed at our group of 7 people that sat up at the bar because the tab wasn’t all on one bill. Then I asked politely for a straw for my drink and I asked for a menu. She said you want a STRAW?? So that didn’t seem reasonable to ask for-the straw….we ordered food and she gave us all our bills. I gave her my card and my bill totaled $23.21 and then she gave me my slip back and she charged my card for my food and someone else in our parties drinks. I asked if it was too late to fix my bill and she yelled at me and said can’t you just get the money from them?!! We are busy and it’s going to take 10 minutes and threw the bill at me. I was there with my parents that live up here and I guess they won’t be going back there either!!

Every meal we have had at the Sand Bar has been great. But last night the fish was Awesome. It just moved into my #1 spot and we will be back. A fresh salad bar with many options. Our complements to the chef and staff.
