This is Marsing’s Hidden Gem!! You will not be disappointed! From service to food to atmosphere you will be overjoyed you came! And they take their proceeds and use it to help out the Senior Community!! I was already halfway to Foodie Heaven & then I learned that! Spread the word! Whether you want to come for a special event like we did or a breakfast on a Sunday or maybe lunch after a few stops at the Winerys nearby you cannot pick a better place! Cannot believe we got so lucky! Oh.. And I will add everything they can do local is local! That’s right.. Homemade local food with a view of the river And great service!! I know right?

High quality, savory delicious food. You can order to go. Thanks for the vegetarian options and a ton of mouth-watering food for a reasonable price!

Great place for a quick bite! Casual family friendly atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and great with suggestions. They know their menu and how it’s made. We’ll be back, again and again.

Turkey club sandwich, with sweet potato fries and homade sauce. Just what I needed. A great dining experience. There’s a full bar. Clean restrooms. Excellent place to stop on our UC Harley. Today the Sandbar was sponsoring a HOG poker run. Thought I’d put a picture of my bike in from the Continental Divide in Yellowstone.

I took my husband to dinner here for father’s day eve on Saturday. The food was excellent and the veggies were fresh. Excellent flavors! We sat on the patio and had a nice talk with the manager Sarah. It’s wonderful that they are doing something so positive for the senior community!

Not impressed with the quality of the food at all or the ambiance. We won’t be eating there again. The staff was very friendly though, that’s the ONLY reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 2. We had a very large party of people and the waitresses did their best to accommodate us. However the kitchen must’ve not been prepared for such a large party (despite us having a reservation well in advance) since half of us were served our food 1st & were done eating before the other half of us even got their meals.

The Sandbar is hands down the best restaurant in the area! I can always count on great service and a delicious steak. Not to mention the beautiful view of the Snake River and the delicious wine choices. This place speaks Idaho! It is a once in a lifetime experience to eat here, but you won’t be able to go just once!

Nice people, lovely view. Our order was forgotten so the wait was much longer than tables that came after us. Breakfast scramble looked delicious, blt & turkey melt were overly garlicy & greasy.

Burnt appetizer, cold tasteless food after an hour wait. After the waitress dropped off our food, Never seen her again until she brought the check. At that time I advised her that the Finger Steaks were cold, her response “Oh” did you want me to have them make you more? No, I didn’t want to wait another hour. She never took them off the bill either. None of my family will be returning to this establishment.

Loved this small town experience! Met the chef, Charles Curtis, who would love to expand his repertoire of food selections and our server was delightful. ( Caitlyn). We live in Caldwell but it’s a easy jaunt. We’ll be back!
