It was a super hot day and I had just finished a long hike up the hill, I was ravenous and was researching restaurants near me, however, I did not expect to come across this gem of a criminally under represented restaurant. The food was phenomenal and there were plenty of choices in terms of menu items, and the staff was amazing. Highly recommend going here for lunch because I assure you that you will find some sandwich combo you like there.

This was my first experience with The Sandwich Spot, and it will be my last. The place is quaint and clean, and the service was prompt. The menu is clever, reminiscent of other local sandwich restaurants like Prima Deli or Lou’s. However, the quality of the service was terrible to say the least. I was “greeted” by the young man at the counter with a blank stare, a long, sour face, and I perceived there to be the expectation to rattle off my order as if I’d been a patron for decades. I most definitely didn’t feel welcome then, and not welcomed to return. I felt as if I was inconveniencing them by giving them my business. As for my sandwich, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either.
