Had the peel and eat shrimp, Blackened Grouper tacos, and Wife had the blackened sea scallops. Some of the best seafood we’ve ever had!!! Food was bursting with flavor, cooked perfectly and price was reasonable considering the amount of food and quality. The owner is really nice, a local, and from the area. Do yourself, friends, and family a favor – GO HERE AND EAT SOME FRESH SEAFOOD!!!!!

I’ve been to a lot of places to eat around Siesta Key and out of all of the places I’ve tried this made #1! It’s not a fancy restaurant just a quick place to get a bite but beyond DELICIOUS! Probably the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. Also had the calamari, and blackened corvina which was so light and flaky. Everything freshly caught and cooked to perfection. Marissa was a great waitress too, very fast but friendly and efficient given the many people that were dining as well as the man doing all of the cooking. Absolutely wonderful experience with great customer service! We ordered fried shrimp, scallops and fish and chips (Mahi Mahi or can upgrade to grouper). Some of the best scallops I have had with a terrific glaze. I had them blackened. Highly recommend.

We decided to try this little gem on our trip from Wisconsin and we are so glad we did. I had the best perfectly prepared scallops and my friend had the conch fritters. I am so impressed that only two people were running the place and we still received great service. We have already talked about returning again before we leave for home. I definitely recommend adding this fresh fish and seafood place as a stop on your trip.

This place was awesome. It is a little gem. There is limited seating inside and some tables outside. I enjoyed that the fish was caught in the morning. They had a variety to offer. This is a must try if you’re on Siesta.

Phenomenal experience! Food was excellent 10 out of 10. We had the Poké bowl as an appetizer highly recommend. And both had the seafood sample (fish of the day, 3 shrimp and 3 scallops) as our main meal. The seafood came with a delicious sauce and you could order two sides with that (fries, veggies, salad, coleslaw, etc.) – $28 for entree. So reasonably priced. They offered a decent assortment of beers and wine. Will definitely be back!! Shout out to Marissa and Aaron for the spectacular experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ See you soon!

I read some of the negative reviews, and they must have been here on off days. Francesco and Sebastian were great – friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice and laid back, and the food was amazing!! We got the Trio plate that came with your choice of fish and three shrimp and three scallops. Everything was caught the day that we ate. We ordered their hush puppies which were housemade – fantastic! Their tartar and cocktail sauce were also housemade. If we are back in the area, we will make the trip back to The Seafood Joint!!

Good gosh the food is fantastic! Not on the main drag… some tables outside and some in. The staff know their stuff! Quick service and if you leave still hungry and not saying “damn that was good”… well something is wrong with you. Hahaha
