Great local hangout spot. Only Bar in town. The majority of the food is good to great. Casual, inviting, and comfortable. The frozen cocktails are delicious! You can’t go wrong with most food items and daily specials. If you order fries, ask for the beer fries.

I was there for dinner, around 4ish. The band was playing outside on the covered deck, not my thing, so I ate inside. A decent menu seems their burgers are their thing. It was ok, they made their own potato chips, they were good. Pleasent atmosphere inside. Big bar, lots to choose from. Over all I’d probably pass on going again. BTW it was a group of 4.

The Inn offers both great and differing atmosphere, depending upon whether you’re sitting inside or on the outside deck. We were on the deck. The service was fantastic. Renee was very attentive and helpful. The drinks were wonderful. We enjoyed all three types of crushes — orange, grapefruit and watermelon. The Totchos were a perfect app. And the Rockfish Tacos and Greek Salad were fantastic. To finish and to celebrate my wife’s birthday, we enjoy a decadent, house made, peanut butter pie. I offer my highest recommendation!

I’ve eaten here 6 or so times. I’ve ordered the same thing (Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries) every time. Never once has it been the same. And sorry guys I’m from the south, just slapping old bay or Tony’s seasoning on stuff isn’t Cajun. The internet can teach you how to make proper spicy/Cajun food. You should probably use it. Service has never been fast. I’m shocked that in such a small town they struggle to stay consistent. It’s not that busy. My wife never wants to order for here.

Wait staff was friendly. Eating area outside was fine. Lunch order took over an hour to arrive and when it arrived it was not how we ordered the food. The waitress blamed and IT issue for our food being late and wrong. I have celiac, which the waitress knew, but they still served my salad with bread on top. The establishment did not offer a discount or anything for taking so so long to serve us and for messing up the order. Beware.

I stopped by here for dinner on their Sea Food special night and ordered the fish and chips. The fish that came out was worse than some fish sticks that I have made at home.

Service and beer were good. Kitchen seems it could use some help. Had open tables but still had a 20 minute wait to allow them to “catch up”. Ordered burger medium rare. Came out way over cooked and dry. The amount of fries was as if they had to be rationed.

Well, this was one of our favorite restaurants that we frequented regularly. They have completely gone downhill, kitchen service has been terrible, we waited nearly 2 hours for food on a Tuesday night, they never brought out appetizers (french fries and soup), brought out two of our meals eventually, brought out the 3rd about 5-10 minutes later, and never brought out our 4th meal. This place has turned into one big disappointment.

Met my son with three of my granddaughters and had high expectations, because my son had been there for fathers day and was very happy with his meal. However both him and I left after a totally different experience. Only one of of us had the meal we ordered and that was chicken fingers. Two steaks were not cooked right and his was sent back because they weren’t even close ( and it was prime rib). Mine was too done for medium rare, but we had waited so long for our food I didn’t want to wait again. One of the girls ordered a burger and they asked how she wanted it done and then made it well done. Why ask if you’re not going to cook it right. The Brussel sprouts were soggy and so was the broccoli, the mushrooms tasted like they came straight out of the can…such a disappointment. And I haven’t even mentioned all the upcharges. Only found one of those charges on the menu, out of three. With the order to go, food was missing and we waited again for that. Couldn’t have ever guessed this would be my first impression of the sherwood Inn, but I will guarantee it is the last time I will be there. With all of this experience, my bill was over 133 dollars …my tip reflected the poor service and the food we were served. The management needs to step up and make sure their staff is competent and supported when needed. Multiple big parties is no excuse for your staff . We made reservations and they should have also so the other customers do not walk away with this kind of experience.

It was a great time playing trivia on Monday night with half off burgers during happy hour I recommend the fresh chips old bay!!! Also the burger was nicely cooked not over done ,hot wings were on point crispy but not dry and the chicken quesadilla was packed with cheese and chicken..
