I was really skeptical about the Impossible Burger after having a couple that weren’t great but whoever cooked my burger last night NAILED IT! Wow was that good! I mean SO GOOD, the outside had a crispness to it but it was still tender in the middle, there were some spices in it that accentuated everything perfectly, the other toppings were in perfect harmony and ratio… might seriously be the best burger I’ve ever had. Somebody give that dude a raise. Beer selection was good. The lady working the bar was great as well. Super attentive and very politely let us know to get food orders in as the kitchen was closing. I also dig the decor and atmosphere. Just couldn’t have been happier with this place.

I REALLY wanted to love this place in all of it’s hipster charm. I usually fall head over heels but was really under impressed. I ordered two drinks ($13 or so a piece) for a custom crafted spirit that was super bitter and felt off balanced. The food also struck out a bit as well. I ordered the tex-mex Poutine that was delivered to my table that had very undercooked sweet potato fries and I needed to send them back. The Poutine was covered in a white sauce that was tart and citrusy where it wasn’t needed. Instead we sent back the Poutine. All in all, I left hungry, and disappointed with a almost $40 bill for two drinks a small salad and a side. Give it a try, it seems like others have had much better luck, but I won’t be coming back myself.

I stopped in for a drink (or two) and a little bit to eat. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered two mystery drinks. To be honest, I did that because it was the cheapest way to go and ended up getting amazing drinks. I paid S10 each for them and probably would have paid more. A lot of the specialty drinks are $13. I do wish they had a happy hour or more specials. The food and drinks are fantastic but, not always in my price range, when I am on a tight budget. I love the fries with parm cheese and truffle sauce. This time, I asked them to make it with the sweet potato fries and it was delicious. The dipping sauce was also awesome. I definitely suggest giving this place a try.

Cool old hardware store converted into a pub restaurant. Suuuuuuuper great food, there’s honestly a choice for everyone on the menu (no picture, but the hot pastrami mess with a seitan substitute was awesome), great beers on tap. If I didn’t have such a short time in town to check out restaurants, I would be returning often.

Awesome space. Unique decor, showing the buildings history and heritage. Fantastic menu, with great “comfort food”. Knowledgeable staff, with fast, accurate service. Great beer and spirit selection. Not a cocktail type of guy, but the whiskey drink I had was outstanding. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing place! Really beautiful space and outstanding food with generous portions. We got the vegan burger with shoestring fries, garden gyro, and vegan ribs. The legitimate vegan in our group was happy beyond measure. We also enjoyed the unique offerings on the beer list. Definitely a place worth frequenting.
