I have never been to the Silver Grill but I want to write a review on the owner, who I believe is named Joe. I was at a gas station in Huntersville NC 6 years ago, where I literally had to pay for gas with change IN PENNIES to get a little bit of gas, maybe $1.50… I was struggling and had to do what I had to do. My wife was pregnant with our now 5 year old. I paid in pennies, counting them forever and holding up the line. After getting to the pump, the man that was behind me in line walked out and told me, “I’ve been where you are, fill your tank and come by the Silver Grill in Denver, which I own, and I will give you and your wife a free meal, just pay it forward.” I feel horrible for never going there and thanking this man. I moved out of state shortly after, but I am back in NC and have never forgotten this moment. I am forever grateful to this man who I’ve never had a real opportunity to thank. If you ever read this, know that what you did has stuck with me forever. Thank you.

The outside reminded me of a 50’s or 60’s place! The food was wonderful. We had both lunch and breakfast items. One of our party members ordered chicken quesadilla. She needed guacamole and they made it fresh for her They currently have inside and outside seating. Their restrooms were very clean. It is obvious they are involved in their community and support veterans! The staff was very efficient and friendly. We enjoyed our time at the Silver Grill. I would highly recommend you stop and have a meal if you’re in Denver,NC. You will be glad you experienced dining at The Silver Grill!

Found this gem while traveling through town. Wanted a homey type place with real food. Got to admit…. Was well worth it. Would definitely come back when in town. I got the sausage biscuit Benedict….. Extremely apprehensive at first, not a Benedict fan. But I must admit, wow, it was amazing.

Truth in advertising — the Silver Grill is a big shiny diner, as bright and clean on the inside as it is on the exterior. Welcoming and bustling, this spot fits neatly with my expectations of a perfect diner, with plenty of parking to boot. There is a wide variety of breakfast items and lunch options to please most anyone. I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict Florentine — a shoe-in for me with my weakness for poached eggs and Hollandaise. This spot seems to be popular with the locals. While I was in a virtual meeting on my laptop, the table next to me was busily engaged in another meeting. The owner, JC Hueck, a retired marine, clearly takes great pride in his place. He offered me a taste of a new dish he’s working on — a chorizo and beef burger. Nomnomnom! Keep your eye on The Silver Grill; you can expect great tasting, well-priced offerings and friendly, efficient service.

Great food and service. I tried to eat all of the double cheeseburger but it was huge! I left full and happy. We will be going back. Finally got to try the breakfast 3-4-22 and it was also awesome.

I am a frequent visitor to this eatery. There is nothing fancy about the dinner. It is a quant place with really good breakfast food. My kids really enjoy the french toast and walffes. I prefer the eggs and pancakes. The serve more than breakfast but they are only open until 3pm. I recommend if you are looking a good meal based on the staples. Enjoy
