Had quick bite after work, small Korean restaurant, had the hot stone pot mixed vegetables rice, it was tasty, also cold noodle was cool and refreshing, the broth seem little bland but it was still good, perfect for hot weather. The side dishes were actually more tasty then the main dishes. The Korean BBQ beef, kal bi was little too salty for my taste but others will probably enjoy them. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We live in Castro Valley, and the Sister House has been our go to place whenever we crave for Korean food, which is pretty much almost weekly. We used to have a go to Korean restaurant much closer to us which closed around 2018, so we have been going to Sister House almost regularly since.

Good service, good atmosphere, easy parking, decent food. Price could be better, but big portions. Seafood pancake was good.

Great service and food. First time eating Korean food for my Mexican parents and they enjoyed all the help and the no-rush feeling. We will definitely go back and get more of their spicy meat selection!! Not a lot of seating space so be mindful of that before checking them out!

I go to this place every Friday to get this goat soup. It is amazing. You can choose either a goat soup for 1 serving or 2-3 servings. We chose 2-3 serving size goat soup because we were two. My friend had this goat soup for the first time at this place and he really liked it.

Great service, SPECTACULAR FOOD, love Sisters house and their staff!! I used to always order to go, but any chance i get to dine in, i do bc the experience is so much better! You really feel like you’re in S Korea! I’ve never been but I’m 14 years experience watching Kdrama and the setup is exactly if i were in their homeland. Quaint, friendly, and busy! As you can see from the pictures this place gets PACKED bc ppl in the area already know wassup

Ordered beef sundooboo and salt fried mackerel which is surprisingly good! The soft tofu soup tasted good, but had only few pieces of beef, you can see in the pic it was mostly tofu. Parking space is huge. Overall this is a recommended place !

I do love their soup but was sad about the tofu mushroom soup, the mushrooms were so sad and old looking. Some were even bitter and I had to spit and pick them out. I’ve usually seen enokitake mushrooms in these soups so I’m a little disappointed to see these old sad creminis.

My mother and I were very hungry, so we stopped by to have a goat soup at the Sister’s House. The soup was served and as soon as we started scooping vegetables on top of the soup, I spotted a hair-looking object that was about an inch long and thick, which did not look like a human hair. I lost appetite and asked the server to remake the food to go. The server went to kitchen and returned with an unexpected response, saying that the chef declined to remake it. I asked the server why and the server said she would not know either and she couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t remake it. What an absurd way of treating customers. I am still wondering why.
