The good…..the Quac and chips are really good….chips are fresh made but could be a bit more consistent…some weren’t cooked crispy but taste was on point…Tacos…..tortillas also fresh and fried….pastor was ok…but tasty…the pickled onions were a bit over powering and they were a bit greasy..the spicy brisket was really great….balanced with slaw its very mild and sweet…..the cheese burger was just ok…the patties were thin and tasty but nothing to write home about….I’d like to try their best in state burger some day….fries…they give you a huge bowl and they were fresh cut style thin and fried right..overall the flavors and intent are there….execution could be better but …….the real deal for this place is the staff and atmosphere, its funky and fun…staff are great people…burger boy and I ate outside and there is a laid back couch several covered tables and a big shade tree…funky music streaming out the door allowing for great conversation…..know that we are hard raters so this place is a ****go******….enjoy…from Joe Token and Burger Boy….we are from where food was born….

My husband and I are from out of town and decided to try this restaurant after reading all of the reviews. It did not disappoint!! We had the nachos, barbacoa bowl and the burrito. It was all SO good but we especially loved the nachos. The nachos have a bit of spice, which we loved. The portions were huge and everything was very reasonably priced. The best part was their outdoor seating area. We love this place and wish we were from around this area because we definitely would be regulars. 10/10

This was the best food stop on our road trip across America. The ambiance, service, and tacos hit the spot. We tried the pork belly, carne asada, fish, and brisket tacos. All were fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant. Hats off to the servers! They were so friendly to newcomers.

This place is really fun with a great atmosphere. The quality of the food is sometimes excellent, and at other times, it leaves something to be desired. For example, one day the ribbon fries will be fried and crispy from top the bottom, and the next day they will be a half crispy, half soggy, oily mess. I have tried ordering their award winning green chili cheese burger twice now, and it never comes out the way it is portrayed in the award pictures. It comes out as a kind of dry basic cheese burger with a few green chilis in there, which is really disappointing. I would love to try the burger that actually won best in state.
