You absolutely can not beat the views. Stunning restaurant with tall ceilings and natural wood touches throughout. The day we went there was a BBQ buffet. He got that and I got the soup and salad bar. We got to sit right by the windows. We had a great time. Unfortunately, our server wasn’t great. At least he was friendly. Looking forward to going back soon.

Little confusing at first because we had to walk through the bar area to get to the reception desk to be seated. Kids all wanted special request, put this on the side, etc and it was plated to perfection. They enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Fried Steak. The grilled Salmon from the pasta was amazing as was the grilled onion and mushroom we ordered on the side. Waitress was a little ‘dry’ and not sure if that was her personality or fear that the young children would be a problem but she was attentive and checked in.

What food was available was really good. We did the BBQ buffet and the food availability was fair. We got there an hour before close and they weren’t replenishing it so a few items were disappearing resulting in limited selection. Food was hot and well seasoned. Mashed potatoes were a miss, but everything else was good. Service was good and friendly. The hostess was very friendly and hardworking. Despite having a fair amount of items on the menu, they were only serving three due to staffing shortages. Prices were as expected for a pricey lodge. Beautiful property with stunning views in an elegant setting.

The salmon I had was delicious, and so were the green beans, rice pilaf, and mashed potatoes. Usually when I order green beans at a restaurant I expect them to come out bland or undercooked, or canned, but these were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I very much appreciated that the menu included a veggie burger in addition to its meat options, which my husband said he enjoyed along with the sweet potato fries. And you can’t beat the view!

I don’t know when I’ve had a steak cooked so perfectly! Tasted even better than it looks. Prices are very reasonable, especially for what you get. I’ve paid over $100 per person at other steak places and left dissatisfied. Not this time. Can’t beat the atmosphere. I’m from out of state and this is definitely worth the drive.

The food was moderately priced I actually expected higher prices was quite surprised. they had beer specials, a good selection on the menu and a lot of homemade items. I was really happy with my dinner I enjoyed it completely the staff was helpful friendly and on time. gave great recommendations in the area were very knowledgeable and just made my dining experience quite fun. Definitely would eat here again not to mention the view was pretty amazing.

The food was pretty good here… at least most of the time Iiked what I ordered. Its pretty hard to hit a home run every time you swing, especially when you are serving such a variety of people. I liked some of the seafood and some of the American food. The breakfast and supper buffet is what I preferred because I could see what was available before I decided to get it. Unfortunately they don’t have a lunch buffet. You have order for lunch. Fewer people come here for lunch. The views from the back window are beautiful, so my family tried to sit there when it was available.
