First off, I came in during non-busy hours and was greeted by the owner who was super friendly and welcoming. The inside is fairly large and outdated, but that’s okay. I came for the food. I want to preface by saying I’ve had hundreds if not thousands of slices of pizza from around Chicagoland and can attest to what different styles of pizza should be or need.

What a great pizza joint hidden in the west suburbs of Chicago. This place has tasty, new jersey style pizza. Crust was crisp and the flavors were full. I tried the white pizza with fresh garlic/sausage. Delicious combo. I’ll be back again to try more.

Not a fine dining establishment but boy do they know how to make pizza. Reminded me of home (NJ). Had to get the plain (cheese) pie first and it did not disappoint. Cheese, crust, sauce, flop, all on point. Well done. Can’t get better pizza than this in the area.

It’s hard to find authentic NY style pizza around the Chicago area, so when I heard such high praise for The Slice Spot I was a bit skeptical. After trying a few different kinds of pizza I can say they really are the real deal, and the pizza is some of the most authentic tasting I’ve had outside of NYC and NJ. The guy who runs it is super friendly and personable. We are lucky to have this gem of a restaurant nearby and we’ll definitely be back!
