This brisket was the bomb. Some of the best I’ve ever had. We went when they first opened so I assume it was fresh. It was super juicy and the seasoning blend was awesome. Also, the fries aren’t anything “special” but they were cooked perfectly. My husband really liked the white cheddar Mac and cheese which I thought was fine. Sweet tea is pretty good too—and that’s coming from a former sweet tea addict. Would 10000% go again and order just brisket and be happy.

I’ll start with the positives, the staff was absolutely delightful. It was our first time and they made sure we understood the menu and didn’t rush us when ordering. The restaurant itself has a very nice atmosphere. I’m a larger person so I appreciated the seats instead of booths as it allowed me to eat comfortably. As far as the food, I really wanted to love it but unfortunately I wasn’t a fan. We ordered the loaded cornbread with honey butter which was dry and didn’t have much flavor (even after we slathered it in the honey butter). I ordered the nachos and added chicken and the portion was amazing, you really felt like you were getting a great deal, but unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the nachos. The chicken was just really tiny chopped pieces of chicken, almost reminiscent of chicken from a can with some BBQ sauce and then the chips had some mushy tomatoes and were covered in cheese that had very little flavor. My daughter did love her Mac and cheese and my husband said his chicken sandwich and fries were “okay”.

Giant portions! Cornbread and pulled pork were excellent! Fed a family of 4 for $57 plus tip. Ordered 2-2pc chicken dinners 1 pulled pork sandwich and fries 1 kids chicken tenders meal. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

We came in about a half hour before closing. It was clear they were ready to close, but the staff was happy to take our order and serve the crowd of 8! The food was good and even the kids liked it! I wish they were open later during the summer. We almost missed dinner because after being on the beach all day, it took time to get prepare for dinner, and it doesn’t get dark until 9pm.

Went last night ordered brisket (marbled and lean) not exactly sure what we got. Also ordered ribs. Nothing had any flavor and tasted old. Could have been because we went right before closing. But while i was there they were pushing in a fresh cart of meats. Figured since it was late they would have just gave us the fresh meats. $77 completely down the drain. Wasn’t edible it was so old it was almost like i was eating day old left overs. Very unacceptable they would serve that. The brisket was basically fat sliced for us. You can see from the pictures that it is not fresh!! Also I’m sure all you are gonna reply to this is sorry, but sorry doesn’t bring back my ruined dinner or my $77. If you wouldn’t eat it you should definitely not serve it to your guests.

We loved coming to The Cape Smokehouse. Our kids each found something they really liked and our pulled pork was delicious. The staff working there were helpful, fun and friendly. We love how close it is as well. It’s a great family restaurant.
