As soon as you walk in, you’re instantly hit with the great smell of BBQ. My dad and I went here for dinner. It was my first time going but his 7th time. There were a lot of great options, but I got the brisket sandwich, with potato wedges as my side and my dad got ribs with beans and cornbread. The taste of the brisket, with their homemade sauce, was something I have never tasted before. It wasn’t too overwhelming, yet it had a lot of great flavor. I tried the ribs and, when I tell you, they just fell of the bone. Yes the prices may be high, but you’re definitely getting what you pay for. The staff was amazing, the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and the food was simply, our-of-this-world. Definitely recommend. Now time to bring my mom!

You know you’re in a smokehouse the moment you walk in. The excellent smell leads you right to the counter to order. The food was good – smoked meats are better than the burger, but I guess that should be expected. Burnt ends had excellent flavor and overall the meat was tender and flavorful. Looking forward to going back to try the brisket and nachos.

My husband, kids and I love the smoked meats and side dishes they serve here. Just right as you walk in the door…you know you’ll be leaving with your tummy full. It’s our number one stop here in Owatonna. Smoked meats and homemade BBQ. It’s mouthing watering, finger licking good

When I first heard about this place opening in Owatonna I was really excited. Upon them posting the menu I was still excited although the prices on the sandwiches seemed a little high but original post said it came with a side so $12 for a sandwich and a side seemed fair.

Ordered take out and tried Brisket, pork belly, and smoked corn beef. All very tasty, with my favorite being the pork belly. Also ordered corn bread, which is very good. A great addition to our region, recommend!

Floor was gross and slippery throughout dining room, mac and cheese had so much onion and garlic powder that it was overwhelming, brisket also super over seasoned so much you can’t taste the beef.

Just went there and tried it for the first time! My husband had pork belly tacos and I had wings dry rub and then we shared a thing of beef nachos! Everything was great seen someone else’s review on the nachos saying they weren’t that good they were amazing I thought they were the BEST nachos I’ve ever had and I have tried a lot of nachos! The only suggestion we have is the tacos could use two tortillas instead of one because they were falling apart because they were filled with DELICIOUSNESS! All of the food was great definitely gonna be our go to place!

The brisket sandwich was outstanding! The original Silverback sauce is very good. Tried the macaroni and cheese and it was very good as well, rich and buttery! My friend tried the beans and thought they were excellent too!

This new barbecue joint is an absolute must try. I got the pulled pork sandwich and potato wedges. The sandwich was absolutely perfect, moist but not fatty, flavorful but not over smoked. I also tried the wings which were what all smoked wings should be measured against. Again, perfect amount of smoke. You order up at the counter but still receive outstanding service. Dine in or order to go, you have to give this place a try.
