06/09/2023: Wow. Great experience. Staff is very friendly and engaging. Food was delicious. Ordered the duck ramen and couldn’t have been more satisfied. You can tell a lot of effort went into the dish. Broth was clean and flavorful. Duck was tender and delicious. Noodles perfectly cooked.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Spoon Trade, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The inviting atmosphere and family-style service made me feel like a cherished member of their own family. The food, prepared with care and meaning, left a lasting impression. This place is a true gem on the Central Coast, and I highly recommend it for an unforgettable meal. Five stars all the way!

This place has never let us down. The food is always fantastic and the wait staff are supremely personable. I love the phrase they used when went recently. “Have fun”. Food should be delicious and fun. We received an octopus dish previously, gratis, from the chef. The owners are typically always there and care about what they do, and how they do it. Classified, perhaps, as refined hominess. This restaurant always feels very welcoming and accommodating. Skip the wood-fired spot down the way, which has become a bit more commercialized, and spend your money here. You will not be disappointed.

We sat at the bar. Food was amazing. I think the bartenders name was Patrick. He was also very amazing. Knew a lot about the area. Sorry if that’s not your name but I’m pretty sure it was. We will definitely be going back.

We literally all were trading spoons of each other’s amazing meals! Super delicious as well as professionally cooked and served! I would vote this as Michelin star worthy! Wow! The combinations of salty, sweet, and savory were unreal in every dish! We were too full for a dessert, but we shared the Strawberry Biscuit! To top it off, the chef came out to serve us our dessert! Thank you Jacob! Well be back soon!

I absolutely loved this place. I’ll be honest at first glance I wasn’t into it and I didn’t recognize a lot on the menu or it was foods I don’t normally have such as duck but everything was AMAZING I was so impressed and amazed and our waiter was awesome and really cared about making sure we were enjoying ourselves. 10/10

We’ve been here before, but visited again since we were in town. The bread and artichoke never disappoints! I ordered the halibut and it was so delicious. The super soft halibut was paired with a sharp coconut sauce that complimented the rich fish. The porridge gave substance to the dish and added a nice flavor, and the veggies were crisp but still nicely cooked. Will come again if we are in the area.

Went with co-worker’s and had no idea what kind of food they served. What a pleasant surprise and the food was great. I tried the Bologna slider and it was delicious. No, it’s not Oscar Meyer. Also tried their chicken & waffles and don’t remember the name of the other dish. We had the meal family style and it was a great way to try and share.
