Great “spot” to catch a meal. The patio is great, dog friendly, and very casual. I was at the beach with family. They have daily specials to go along with their menu. We got 3 shrimp baskets and a chicken basket (allergy to seafood). Two of the shrimp baskets were fried and one was blackened. The fried shrimp were jumbo, meaty, crunchy outside and tender inside and delicious. The blackened shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The steak fries were the perfect addition. Lemon wedges added a freshness if desired. The coleslaw was fresh and a nice side. The hush puppies were crunchy seasoned. All sauces (tarter, cocktail, ranch dressing, and honey butter) are homemade. That honey butter needs a patent! We left satisfied before heading to the boardwalk. Service was great. They were very busy, but everyone at the tables seemed to be getting everything they needed and everybody worked as a team.

5’s is all I can rate? GTFOH!!! We loved it. Shared lunch there before Idalia ran us out. From the local crowd to the fresh specials it was an amazing experience. The staff is attentive and knows their stuff. Great way to start the day or cool off from the beach at noon. Also very sasquatch friendly!! Dust off those toes and come in or sit on the porch and enjoy the day. Either way get to the Spot, you won’t regret it.

Ordered off the daily specials menu and asked to substitute slaw for fries. When my food came, the cup of slaw was tiny! I asked the server if this was really all you get. At first he said, “That’s how it comes.” When I pressed and said, “If I’d known that, I would have stuck with the fries.”

Hands down one of the BEST places at the beach! There’s a reason that this place is called The Spot – delicious food, great service and an overall fun vibe with live music! Candace was my server and there’s only one word to describe her: FANTASTIC! She was so personable yet professional with me and my family, and was super knowledgeable. By the end of our dinner, we felt like old friends — totally appreciate her! She’s a star 🙂

The waitress was attentive and recommended the wings. They were delicious! The nachos, Philly cheesesteak and fried flounder was great too. The entire party enjoyed their food. We sat on the patio with great music and dim lighting. To top it off, their Mai Tai reminds me of the ones in Maui, which were also fantastic. Great place to eat. I’ll definitely go back.

Very happening place!! Stays open later than most places in Carolina Beach I believe as well. I started off with the Hatteras Clam Chowder. This is a bright chowder with tons of clams, bacon and potatoes. Definitely the best broth based chowder I have had around here. The pretzel bites were very good, crispy and soft on the inside. The beer cheese to dip them in was pretty good as well. Very strong beer flavor. They also had sweet tea butter which was made the pretzels taste a lot like a salty donut. Jenn had the hot dogs with chili and I had their flat iron steak. Very good flavor on the steak made of Merlot and mushrooms. The broccolini was cooked nice and the red potatoes had an amazing crisp to them without tasting burnt. I ended up getting the peach cobbler to take home and it was pretty ridiculous. ( in a good way) almost like a peach cobbler bread pudding. Can’t believe it took us 2 months to stop in at the Spot.

We stopped in late, after 10pm, not knowing what to expect. Turns out this place is awesome! The food, drinks and service was awesome! The peach cobbler and ice cream was also delicious. The atmosphere was happy. Our server, Ryan, was great as well. The cocktail sauce is a must. Put it on anything. We will definitely be back!

There is absolutely no reason to not give them 5 stars. The food was so good. The biggest shrimp I have ever had- well cooked. Flavorful and so so good. The waitress was run ragged but not her fault understaffed as every establishment everywhere is. She did her best as did the rest of the staff backing her. GO enjoy but be patient and give grace. ISLAND TIME.

Stopped here on vacation. Good atmosphere and prompt service, good beer choices. I had a burger which was pretty good, the wife had the chicken wings and we shared the hush puppies. It was difficult to choose which to eat first as they were both amazing. Highly recommend, and if you can’t find it she will tell you.
