Staying at Desoto State Park and just cruising through Fort Payne and happened upon “The Spot”. Awesome place. Super atmosphere for being alone, with friends or a group meeting. It’s bigger inside than you would expect because it’s a renovated old downtown hardware store.

Got the spicy pimento BLT (ate half before taking the picture) and an iced honey bee. It was soooooo delicious. Ambience is incredible. I felt so relaxed and for the short time that I sat there enjoying my sandwich and drink, I didn’t have a care in the world.

This is a cool little coffee shop. Actually, it’s not very little. Tons of room to gather with amazing industrial lighting fixtures. We came later in the day so I ordered a decaf latte and my husband ordered a chai. They were SO good! Friendly staff too. I have to drive through this town again tomorrow and I hope I have time to stop!

Great little coffee and sandwich shop. Most of the staff are welcoming and friendly. However, there is one lady, possibly the manager, who is no nonsense type and seems bothered if you do anything other than order right away. We’ve been several times and noticed it. We really like the atmosphere. There is plenty of space to spread out, and it’s a comfortable environment.

I ordered my forever favorite- the Spot On. The vibe has absolutely changed in here, there isn’t much art on the walls anymore, and the radio was blaring contemporary-christian music. I’ll be glad when they get live music in here again, for sure. The drink was fantastic, the greenery faux and real was all lovely, it’s changed from a poppin’ rad coffee shop to a lovely little cozy corner coffee shop, and I really don’t think one is any worse than the other, just different. The side door is generally unlocked and available for folks with disabilities, and the staff is friendly and fast. It only took about 5 minutes to get my super special ‘substitute chocolate-add espresso’ drink. I entertained myself with snapping photos, for you lot to enjoy. Stop into the Spot Coffee Shop next time you’re in Fort Payne, Alabama.

I recently visited the Spot Coffee Shop and I am absolutely in love! Not only is their coffee delicious, but you can feel the love of Jesus permeating throughout the entire space. As they say, they truly pour into their community – it was evident to me during my visit. They have a wide selection of beverages and snacks that were reasonably priced and very tasty. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made for an enjoyable experience all around. If you’re looking for a unique coffee shop with great drinks, food, and atmosphere – this is definitely your spot! Five stars! Highly recommended!

I came in on vacation, coffee wasn’t great super weak flavor, the panini isn’t pressed or toasted and quite frankly is overpriced. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was friendly enough, but that doesn’t compensate for an overpriced menu. I would look elsewhere for a bite and some coffee.

Great coffee shop with lots of options and specialty coffee options! I believe I got the honeybun or cinnamon-bun on the specialty and it was delicious! My husband and I also got the signature spot sandwich and loaded avocado toast! Came here passing through to go hiking and will definitely be back!
