Just one person on a grill cooking, I would not even call it a kitchen. I ordered the Philly cheese steak I was very Skeptical from what I saw inside the restaurant. The cook was working their butt off but food was a little slow coming out. They used Pretzel bread for the sandwich But you know what it really worked well. The sandwich was delicious and amazing. The portion was just right, I kinda wish there was more so I could enjoy it longer. Friendly cashier and helpful. Good job on the grill also. If im ever in the area again I will be back.

My husband and I went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Friendly service as soon as you walk in the door, and the menu selections are very clear. Unfortunately they had sold out of what I came for, the broccoli cheese soup, but I ended up getting a shrimp po boy with kale salad and my husband got the dorito salad.

Summer and Jackie do an amazing job. Great quality of meat and vegetables. Very clean, very polite, a well oiled machine. The chef even comes out and makes sure you’re 100% satisfied. Hand downs, Scott County’s best little secret.

Stopped in with my Mom. I got a Ruben and she had chicken salad sandwich. We shared half sandwich with each other . We both agreed the chicken salad was good. But the Ruben was the best Ruben either of us had ever ate. Extra points for good tea. We also got to sample the Broccoli Cheddar soup. The soup was very good also. We will be back.

First timer here!!! The sweet woman in the hat!!! Didn’t steer me in the wrong direction, the Philly sandwich is incredible, the white chicken chili was phenomenal, and pasta salad was perfect! Not covered in sauce and light. Friendly and fast! I will definitely be back and probably with more people next time!!!! Thank you sooo much! Great job!

I asked Google to find a place to eat as I was driving past Scottsburg and this place popped up. My wife and I drove there and looking at it, I admit I was a bit skeptical. We decided to give it try and…WOW! These people know how to make a sandwich and I could talk about their soup all day. These major chains could take a lesson from The Square Bistro on how to make amazing food. The next time I am driving past Scottsburg I know where I am stopping for lunch. Thank you!

What it lacks in ambiance it makes up for in great food and service! Recommend by a local, this was a reasonably priced place for a delicious lunch! We had the French dip with fruit and Dorito salad.

So good. I’ve had the square bristro 3 times now. I knew I was going there Friday night and day dreamed about about their salsa. Reminds me of garden salsa I had as a kid. They always have a special going, so I rarely order off the menu. Their bread is amazing and the quality of the ingredients are excellent. I saw quit a few call in orders taken out while we dined in. Totally recommend for lunch if you’re in Scottsburg right on the Square!

Get away from fast food alley. Go a bit further off highway into town and find this gem of a bistro. OUtstanding food to say the least. Excellent service. A great stop when travelling through the area. Highly recommend.
