This is my go to place for brunch. I’m always rushing to get there before they close, that’s how good they are. I enjoy the food especially when you can taste the freshness, and how they love to put in care when they serve your dish. I have tried the French toast, potatoes, and sandwiches which never disappoints. Be patient as they do get busy and need the time to give a tasteful dish. Coffee is great, many options to try. I also have tried the Blueberry Lavender Limeade, amazing flavor…how delicious :)) Keep it up Squawk!!

As breakfast goes in Berks Co..AMAZING. The favors that Patrick and the staff put together to make up plates are delicious. I had the Squawk Bowl. Potatoes cooked to be crispy, but not hard, quality sharp cheddar cheese cooked into the eggs with refried beans and a very nice aioli sauce. The sausage I ordered was missing, but I can try that next time. Additionally, the coffee was high quality and on point. May have found a new Sunday brunch place. Nice cafe feel. Only about 8 tables, so plan accordingly, but seems as though most folks are carryout. However, STRONGLY recommend getting in early; <830A.

Even though somewhere in between me, ordering in transition to the restaurant, there was a mixup in how I was picking up, this breakfast did not disappoint. I had a tomato and egg sandwich on a scone. It was so fresh and so tasty. I also had a caramel macchiato, once I got the caramel stirred up from the bottom. It was really good as well. And thanks to the server who brought my order curbside without any hassle. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely return.

Excellent coffee, breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend any of the seasonal French Toast options and the breakfast potatoes. I also get excited about their fresh baked cranberry pistachio scones.

My wrap that I got was very delicious and a very cool and unique things inside the wrap.. the chickpeas were interesting because they were dried .. just all around cool experience eating your food. I love that the food selection is not typical food that you see around here. It makes you appreciate eating locally instead of a chain restaurant

So yesterday while perusing through Door Dash looking for breakfast and a cold brew, I came across The Squawk Cafe which I had never heard of before. Everything…. seriously everything looked and sounded delicious …. I saw their Caramal Pretzel French Toast and was sold! YES – it is a bit pricey, BUT, that’s the sacrifice you must make if you want to see everyday, hardworking small businesses and business owners thrive in our community…..& every so often, you just gotta Treat Yo Self!

Hands down the best breakfast food in our area. The attention to detail and the craft this chef puts into this menu is second to no one. You are experiencing a true artist and we are lucky to have this quality in our area. I would encourage you not to walk but run to get breakfast here.
