Food and service were great! We loved our burger, fries and salad. Ambiance was classy, friendly, and clean.

First off, the staff here are wonderful and definitely make everyone feel at home. I was going to try the chili dog, but the promo photos for the Short Rib Grilled Cheese were irresistible. Unfortunately, reality kicked in with a sandwich that had all the necessary ingredients, but just piled on into a fairly messy heap, mostly on the middle of the bread. My wife had an ordinary Stand Burger with cheddar. Nice soft bun, but nothing really exciting otherwise. I think their burger sauce could use some more ketchup. For sides, we all liked the Stand Chips over the fries or onion rings. Nice place for large groups. Music can get a little loud.

The Short Rib Grilled Cheese is the better of the 3 burgers I’ve tried, so far. A little oily but the meat has good flavor comparable to a pulled pork. Having it on a grilled cheese is like having two types of sandwich in one. The Ultimate Egg’s pickled onions and chili aioli is the highlight of this burger, not the egg; like the sweetness of the onions and the spicy kick of the aioli. Tried the French Onion burger but didn’t like it much so it’s the #3 of the 3 burgers. The burger patties can use some seasoning to make these better burgers. Ideas of the ingredients are great but would be better if the meat patty can also be more seasoned. Would like to try the rest of the menu when near the area.

Not bad, still the same layout and staff is friendly, but hard to not compare it to grub burger. Grub burger was better in every facet. Likely won’t be coming back but wish this place much success

Such a delightful surprise! Food tasted great and incredibly fresh. We had the chips and guacamole, fries, and the grilled cheese short rib. The costumer service was super helpful too, as the restaurant is new. Can’t wait to try out more things on the menu! We will be back.

Super disappointed that this is a worse burger spot than the one before it. Definitely seems more empty in many different ways. Food tastes old, the onion rings were hard as rock, chili fries were sad. Brisket burger barely had any brisket. The employees seem lost, witnessed a few orders go to the wrong guest just waiting for to-go. A few employees were just standing around. It used to be a lively place with a better menu. Grub burger was delicious, reasonably priced and the staff seemed to actually care. Prices are higher, everywhere, but the quality of food here doesn’t seem appropriate. Hopefully we don’t get food poisoning. Next time we’re stuck at Kaiser, we’ll just go to McDonald’s across the street…

This place is a massive downgrade from the Grub Burger that was here until very recently. Grub’s fries and onion rings were wonderfully crisp and crunchy, the new ones are clearly from a frozen box. The burger buns taste like they are full of corn syrup and the meat quality is worse. All the fun menu entries are gone. What a pity.

At first glance I was worried about the change from the previous business. But this place deserves more than a chance. The burgers were flavorful, the chips crispy, and pickles super good. Definitely coming back.

I had definite trepidation about trying this restaurant because my family and I were diehard Grub fans and have not gotten over the loss of our favorite spot. Given that the reviews are so harsh my expectations were low going in. We placed a pretty well-rounded order (stand burger, veggie burger, kids grilled cheese, Chinese chicken salad, fries, and green beans). Everything was good (the salad was great and I really enjoyed the veggie burger). The green beans were the only meh – not enough flavor. The fries were were actually better than Grub as was the service – you could tell they were going above and beyond since locals are so upset about Grub closing. One server had to run back to the kitchen multiple times to find sauces for a customer who wanted something “Like Grub’s.” I heard other people mention Grub’s menu while they ordered. Grub is gone. Yes, I’m sad. But I’m pleasantly surprised at the replacement. Solid 4.5 stars.

I was a true Grub fan and was pleasantly surprised at the way they upgraded the outdoor area to have nice tables and chairs. Service was great. Food not so great. I ordered “The Stand” burger with swiss cheese….I ate half and took the other half home. Upon inspection I did not get any swiss cheese (though was charged for it) and there were no grilled onions – very disappointing..The burgers are alot smaller than “The Grub”. I will be back to give it another try though. It was only day two of their opening. The menu looks good and the customer service was awesome!
