The food was good for fast food and the service was good, but I’d give it, over all, 3.5 bc the bathrooms were not clean and we’re a mess. We did not go inside the restaurant. The outdoor area is The Station’s best feature. It has a large grassy area with picnic tables and lots of seating with a fire pit, a covered game area and an outdoor pizza oven. I asked about the pizza oven and was told it’s only used occasionally, which I think is a shame and a missed opportunity! A few weeks ago we had excellent coffees at Heavenly Grounds just on the other side of the station! It’s a nice stop after a hike and the kids loved it.

Spendy. Two of us. Great burgers, great fries, good shakes, really good drip coffee. Loved it. With Wa state tax and tip the bill came to $72. Most ever paid. It is a gouge. No competition till after 3pm. Thinking about my food truck there next summer. If I can get a permit. Overall three stars due to pricing..

I cannot believe what a rip off this place is! I would give negative stars if possible. I stopped on my way into Gifford Pinchot and asked to use the bathroom and was going to grab a pastry for the road. Bathroom was DISGUSTING, would have been better off going on the side of the road.

Fabulous food. Everything we ate here was delicious. Great sandwiches, burgers, fries, onion rings. It was so good, we came back the next day. It’s far from anywhere else so good, so it’s not inexpensive, but large portions and well worth it. Highly recommend.

Really delicious classic breakfast options with some fun additions, including a lot of huckleberry items. I had french toast with huckleberries and a huckleberry mimosa, both of which were delicious! Our group of ten was able to all fit around one of their large outdoor tables and we enjoyed kind and attentive service. I thought the prices were really reasonable.

The chicken Cesar salad was to die for! ❤️ My hubby had the Elk Burger and said it was the best Elk burger that he’s had since his late uncle made them for him! We most definitely recommend this cafe if you’re going through Troutlake!

Closing time was 7pm. Got there at 6:30pm (on Aug 26, 23) but that day closed at 6pm. They were willing to ring me up for one huckleberry shake, overcharged me at $10 a shake. Turned out berries were spoiled (rotten taste) and I got food poison.

Worst latte I ever had. I love lattes and I ordered a latte, it tasted like burnt milk. I don’t know if they forgot to put in the espresso but I couldn’t drink it so I poured it into a bush. They also made it way too hot and I like hot lattes but it was almost too hot to hold with a sleeve on.
