Great food and the live music was so fun! Highly recommend the onion rings. Homemade and perfectly crispy. The steak kabobs were cooked perfectly. Love that the menu has a little of everything. Our waitress was amazing and the drinks were perfect. Definitely will be going back.

Awesome place. Great food and environment. Music with a live band on Friday nights and maybe other nights too.

First time here, food was great. Steak au poivre, prime rib n stuffed shrimp was delicious. How lucky, three of a kind was also playing.

“Hidden Gem,” I have probably passed this place a thousand times and my wife and I finally decided to stop. I was immediately greeted when walking in, given a spot by the bar, and, though she was busy, got my drink order from our bartender within 5 minutes.

My steak was decent enough although a little too charbroiled for medium and the potato chip nachos weren’t very impressive but our waitress was exceptional especially being the only waitress in the restaurant which is pretty common everywhere because of places being short-staffed.

Wasn’t very busy. Got there at 7ish. Seated promptly. 7:40 our order was taken after I asked the server to take it. Only 1 prime serving was left. Bummer, three out of 4 wanted it. Cajun salmon was way overcooked. Server mixed up the 2 filet orders. Hubby already took 2 bites before I noticed how done it was. My friend was trying to figure out how to eat hers since it was not what she ordered. I made the switch but the then they were too disappointed with the meal. I will be returning to Barbers Crossing from now on.

Went for early dinner. Place empty, thought at least the service should be great. Waited several minutes for hostess (had to ask at bar). Waited again for waitress-she turned out to be the quiet, unsmiling, unhelpful sort. Got appetizers, waited a good 20 minutes. Placed our main dish orders while waiting. Irish nachos came and were quite good. About the time we were finishing, waitress informs us that they don’t have any steak for my wife’s order. Seems it took them about twenty minutes to figure this out. At least we were informed up front that there was no prime rib, which is what I would have ordered. Here I should remind you that this place is “THE STEAKLOFT”. Wife got a burger rare, came somewhere between medium and well. I got the fried haddock- over cooked and Very small portion- much prefer The Hillside Grill or even Dean Park Pizza for properly fried and large portions of haddock. Very disappointed- will not return.

Great food – the steak was not only cooked to perfection, but the seasoning was beyond excellent! The onion rings have a great balance of salty, spicy, and sweet, and overall it’s a wonderful dining experience!
