Food was decent, my drink was good ordered the Loose Goose pictured with this review. My husband ordered a crown apple and sprite but when he got it that’s not what it actually was. We waited so long to get the drinks in the first place that he just drank it instead of waiting for it to be replaced. Our food took a really long time. The fries were really good. Sofa king good burger, the patty itself is delicious they use a top tier blend of meat. Way too much of the sauce on it though. The atmosphere is what would bring me back. The views of the lake and a fun little outdoor area make it a nice spot. Overall it was okay but as others mention service is slow!

Good food. Slow service. We were seated at 4:30 and received our food at 5:30. Ordered pulled pork sandwich and the kitchen forgot to put BBQ on it. Waitress checked in rarely. Save your money.

So ordered a flight and this is what I got. Please don’t tell me it’s the head. I’ve been to other places and once in a while you might get 1 like that. The food was good. While eating the guys walking around kept coming to are table even while we were eating. I could see if there was a empty plate to pick up but we were eating. This happened multiple times. Trying to enjoy our dinner and entertainment but it didn’t happen.

Very beautiful, tons of seating. We arrived right at open on a Thursday and it was filling up when we were leaving. 4 of their own beers when we stopped. I had a guest tap. We had appetizers which were all good. My friends had flights of the house beers which they rated a 3 out of 5. Good service with a smile. Will definitely stop again.

I know people who visit the Sisters Lake area, and they recommended other restaurants. The Strand was close, and we still tried. The food and drinks were great. Two of us had barbeque — one brisket and one pulled pork. I travel for work, and I thought the Brisket was on par with good places in Texas and Kansas City. The barbeque sauce was very good. They should focus on making the appetizers better; if they did this, it would really make a difference.

Waitress needed more training. If it’s taking a long time for your food why not go check into it? How about asking if we wanted more beverages ( that were empty from the waiting) in the meantime. A busser came out and asked if we had gotten our meal. Lo and behold he went to the kitchen and we got it. The manager should be walking around and noticing little kids (whose parents weren’t watching) walking on top of the fire pits. Accident ready to happen. The new waitress just stood around talking to other waitresses. I came to decompress and left angry, thirsty and mad. I love The Strand, for the atmosphere, but none of it was there that night.

The views are great but the service totally lacks. It took over an hour to get our food. They are not hurting for business but I don’t think I will be back any time soon. I don’t know if they need more help in the kitchen but some thing needs to improve. There isn’t any food worth this wait.

Great venue, fun band, but the service was horrible. I don’t usually post reviews but I thought this was deserving. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich that said came with fries and slaw on the side and bbq sauce and pickles on it. I received just a dry sandwich. No sauce, no toppings, no sides. I had to ask multiple times for the rest of my dinner and was made to feel like I was a problem for just wanting what I ordered. Turns out they were out of half my meal and didn’t tell me beforehand. Out of most beer as well.

Absolutely fabulous! Great beer, great cocktails, and great service! Our bartender was Jade. We witnessed the longest motorcade we’ve ever seen go by during our stay. So fun! Loved the vibe, the indoor/outdoor feel, and the excellent service. We will be back!!

We had a rehearsal dinner and the service was horrible. We had 27 people with 1 server. There were 3 hostesses doing nothing that could have helped, could have cleared dirty plates but they just stared at us all night. The Manager never checked, not even once, to see how things were going. She had to print the menu twice due to errors. She was rude and did nothing to solve any of the issues. BALL DROPPED! I would never have a party here again!!!!!!! EPIC FAIL!
