We loved the ambiance of the outdoor seating, and we had a nice amount of space for our elderly dog napping in his stroller next to our table. The staff was really nice and friendly. I had a mango lassi to drink, and my husband had a cocktail. I liked the mango lassi, but I hadn’t realized how thick and filling it would be (hadn’t had one in many years), so next time I’d stick with a lighter drink to save more of my appetite for the yummy food. We got the soy curl tikka masala plate, the pickled broccoli and cauliflower pakora, and the spicy cucumber. We hadn’t realized we would already be getting cucumber with the tikka masala – we would have skipped that dish if we realized. The pakora was outstanding, and so were the soy curls, rice, and the dal. It was a lot of food for the two of us; we had to take about half of the pakora home for later.

A lovely spot with subtle lighting and candles, vintage Bollywood movie posters.

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want fresh Indian food. Based on the reviews, I drove here for an hour. I was extremely disappointed by the quality of the food- it tasted like ginger in everything. Even the mango lassi has gingerly taste. So did the curries and soy Chapp!!

Never recommending. I only want to say to owners & cook, please don’t spoil name & taste of Indian cuisine. This place have no idea that what they are cooking. Horrible presentation of items, taste, sitting arrangements. Most disgusting was Black seeds NAAN ( Bread) they bring. Frozen naan was heated up. May be it would be good for Non- Indian people, if they never tried good Indian cuisine some where else.

By far my favorite take out in the city (and I’m not even vegan). It’s super reasonably priced and the portions are generous. The Brussels sprout and tempeh fried rice is one of my favorite dishes (in general not just at this place). Also a big fan of the lentil kofta. The kale saag was kind of bland the time I tried it.

We ordered Soy chicken drumsticks, Indo Chinese soy noodles, Saag paneer, and Chickpea cutlet plate, and all the items were good.

The Sudra used to be good, back when they opened the Beaverton location. Now they’ve closed it down, and this location serves expensive, unimpressive food in tiny portions, with servers that act as if they’re doing you a favor. If you come here hungry, you’ll leave hungry.
