If fresh has a flavor, it lives here. Stop reading and try this restaurant out. I eat a plant-based diet and this place is amazing. If the meat dishes are similar, you cannot possibly go wrong.

Called ahead to ask if they could accommodate gluten free but was unable to get them to understand what I was asking. Went to the restaurant and asked if they could make gluten free, they said they could without the pita bread. I ordered the chicken kabob with rice, my mom got the beef kabob with rice. I really liked the yellow spiced rice, it was very flavorful and soft. The chicken was a little too dry for me, (I have dysphagia- so it might be just me). My mom thought the rice was good, but the beef looked and tasted more like hamburger meat and didn’t care for it.

A decent Mediterranean restaurant that is located on the I-70 Business Loop. I wanted to try multiple items so I ordered the Mixed Syrian Kitchen dish which comes with beef, lamb and shish tawuk. They were well-seasoned, but one of the kebabs was overcooked and tough to chew. The Tzatziki sauce was tasty, but the small container was not enough to mask the dried out meat. I really liked the falafel as it was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Other notes I had were fast service and a small parking lot.

This place is so bad that I could not resist myself from posting this review while I am having the food. We ordered the Syrian Mixed Platter: the rice and chicken were delicious which earned the two stars, but the lamb and beef were extremely dry and chewy. And that’s not the worst part: the smell was horrible. I love middle-eastern cuisine, and I am thankful that this place was not the first place where I had this cuisine, otherwise I would never have it again.

Disappointing and expensive. ordered lamb kebob, it came without salad, only kebob and rice with pita bread and soda $23! ..kebob was ok ( i think they use sadaf frozen kebob) , but rice was not so tasty, the price they charge me i would buy 2 of the same order in much expensive california…

Large portions great service even at an off time of day. I got the Lamb shish sandwich and it was great.

Yesterday we had dinner here, we planned to drink tea, but we decided to eat. Because after talking with the waiter, we got a promise that they would make/prepare food very quickly. First we ordered tea and hummus with bread, these things were great. Only when we got the food / kebab, I feel like they just reheated it because the meat was hard and warm. All in all, an OK restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no public choice for HALAL food in Columba.

THE SYRIAN KITCHEN HAS THE BEST FOOD! You will not be disappointed. The service is incredible and the menu is great. The Falafel are some of the best in town and the Turkish coffee is a must have! If you want to try something new or simply be a regular customer somewhere, this is a great place to start!

First Syrian dishes we’ve tried, really like Mediterranean food and Middle-Eastern in general, though. I can’t remember exactly what mine was called, but it was beef, lamb, and chicken kebabs with rice and it was fantastic. My wife had the chicken shawarma plate, also very good. The turkish coffee was a first for me and surprised me how different it was from Arabic coffee. Something different to try.

Super delicious! If you get anything from here, it has to be the falafel — it’s super moist and flavorful. The hummus and pita are equally as amazing and fresh. The baklava is small, but big on that delicious honey flavor!
