First of all, where else are you going to get two for one, delicious jumbo margaritas for happy hour every day (except Tuesday)? The price is already cheap at $7(ish) bucks, but TWO of them for that??? That’s a cheap date right there!

Everything was delicious. The chips would be the only area to improve- they are a bit thick and hard. The $1 taco Tuesday drew us in and the tacos were excellent. The chicken and fries were even much better than regular restaurants around CR. Lastly, even while super busy the server was very pleasant and on top of everything.

We are in Iowa from out of town and my son randomly chose The Taco Depot out of a google search. We were not disappointed! Salsa and queso were great. We tried most of the tacos that they had to offer between the two of us and each was absolutely fantastic!! Really, you can’t go wrong. To top it off, the service that we received was fast and friendly. We left wishing that we had a Taco Depot in our home state.

I did not go inside on this visit but only used the drive-thru. I was picking up items for someone else and I am not very familiar with the Taco depot’s menu. I struggled with ordering because I was not familiar with many of their items. However, the staff was a very patient and answered all of my questions. I was able to figure out which items I needed. Going through the drive-thru went fairly quickly. Even though there were several cars. The staff seem to be knowledgeable about their items and working quickly to move everyone through the line in a timely manner. I appreciate it there efforts and will definitely return.

The margaritas are STRONG. The staff are NICE. The price is FAIR probably better than fair. Chips and salsa is mild but good. Cheese balls are amazing. Burritos are larger than I expected for the price. They gave us a to-go box when requested. Veggie options available. Good location.

This is my regular Tuesday stop. It’s $1 per Taco, and I get tacos Ramirez with chorizo. I’m pretty sure the chorizo is mixed on site, as sometimes it’s spicier. My daughter loved their lengua tacos and got loopy on their margaritas. (They don’t skimp on the tequila, apparently. ) Friendly, responsive staff, reasonable prices, have made this a go-to for the last three years.
