My favorite was Al Pastor and my hubby’s favorite was Birria. Very delicious!! Taco truck was so cute as well. I highly recommend food lovers to try this joint!

I have nothing but good things to say. I loved the birria tacos, I haven’t forgot about them. Best I’ve ever had around Illinois no lie, and they were so flavorful. Bring a bib. The street corn was to die for too, so much flavor and creamy. It had fresh lime and cilantro and a lot of corn for such a good price. The churros were so creative too in a cup filled with whipped cream and like 4 or 5 churros. I can’t wait to visit here again.

As someone who moved to illinois from Texas, I can say there isn’t any better authentic Mexican food from Chicago down to St. Louis and honestly even further south. Great food, great customer service, can’t wait to go back and try a different menu item.

I was a little late to Sunrise Cafe and discovered this place by accident as it sits basically across the street. I must say, the food here is excellent. The menu is fairly robust, and the portion sizes are more than generous. They do not have a lot of drink options, and the seating is limited to picnic tables… But the food outweighs the sound of traffic, and if the noise is too great this place handles carry out orders just fine. This has been one of the best food discoveries I have found in Springfield in recent years. Definitely recommend.

The food is delicious, I had al pastor tacos and Birria. Both were really tasty. I also had the churros, which I didn’t like because they were soggy from the way they prepared them. I highly recommend Joint taco you won’t regret coming here.

The shrimp burrito is the best!! The shrimp are huge and packed in a blanket of awesomeness. You can get it without the heat but I didn’t think it was to hot. It added good flavor!

I ordered a Chorizo and Egg Burrito with no Cheese. Low-quality Chorizo, way too much rice (Probably used to make Burrito look big), bean only one small spattering on the bottom of the Burrito. If you like that type of Burrito go for it. I’m too Mexican for this place.

We were staying at a B&B in Springfield and decided to try this place. The food far exceeded our expectations. Excellent!!! We went back for lunch the next day to get the street corn again.

I am sure this food is good. Luckily my daughter got a spoon with her street taco to eat, but I wasn’t so lucky. I have no silverware and no one is answering the phone to help me. $30 wasted. I won’t be ordering from them anymore. The worst is I am hungry. Super disappointed.
