Great place to visit with a lot of history, too. Excellent service and atmosphere. The entree options are a bit limited but I would say that none of them would disappoint. I can personally suggest the rack of lamb with pistachio crust and roasted tomato. Wonderful! We will visit again.

What can I say! From the moment you walk through the door it is amazing and the customer service is exceptional. My husband and I went for brunch and the waitress was so personable and made you feel like family, the food was excellent and the atmosphere of the place was so warm and welcoming. We will definitely be going back again and trying more of the meals. The chef certainly knows how to satisfy the palate. Even the Bloody Mary we had was the best we had ever tasted.

We never do reviews but this place was outstanding and deserves a special mention. The food was excellent. The service impeccable. The atmosphere and restaurant with several floors, history etc. amazing. And all at a reasonable price. Wow! You people nailed it. Don’t miss this gem when you visit Bangor

Beautiful club turned restaurant with a rich history. The wait and host staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was so delicious!! I got the lamb (see picture) and my husband got the filet and crème brûlée. Despite the incredible dining experience, the most memorable part was exploring the rest of the building, playing games like shuffleboard & billiards, and having drinks on the rooftop while enjoying the view of Bangor. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!

We had our rehearsal dinner here- the building and rooms are beautiful and the rooftop is gorgeous! The service and food were great! Moderately pricey menu but worth it! Had I known how awesome this venue was we would’ve just had our small wedding there! Thanks for all your care and accommodations- with love, the newlyweds, Jim and Monica

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner at the Tarratine Inn, and he was kind enough to drive us to this restaurant. The building is absolutely gorgeous! Such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Very swanky/fancy yet can still be casual too. The wait staff was wonderful. The food was superb, some of the best food we’ve had in Maine thus far. Drinks were also great. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

I have been to the Tarratine twice, The first time wasn’t the greatest experience and I made a review about it. I had a munificent offer from one of the managers and I decided to give them a second chance because everyone deserves a second chance, my date and I went last Friday and it was amazing it totally changed my point of view for this restaurant. I had ordered a filet mignon which was spectacular and so flavorful and my date ordered these BBQ sliders which we both loved, and for dessert we had a homemade brownie a la mode and that was perfect. I talked with the owner of the Tarratine and apologized for the review and said how they totally changed my opinion on the Tarratine and will for sure come back, and I do plan on it soon because this restaurant is more than just a place to eat, you can do so many other things and that’s one of the reasons why I love this place
