Tavern Co has been in Cleveland Hts for as long as I can recall and it’s got a solid rep for food and service. Always a great burger and bar food, the beer selection could have more range, but I always know there will be a room full of locals with a good attitude and friendly quick service.

Pretty good food and decent prices. The new owner isn’t friendly but the old staff that’s still there is. I love coming here for happy hour. Parking behind the bar but park down the residential streets for free to stay awhile 🙂

Friends invited us to The Tavern and we had a great time. Our friends love the salad with seared tuna and it was a large salad with a nice portion of tuna. My hubby got the walleye dinner and loved it. I ordered onion rings to share and honestly some of the best I’ve had in Cleveland. I hot the special of shrimp tacquitos and it was only so so. Too much sauce and burned on the edges. So, overall a good food experience but I might not order from the specials. That’s just me. We will definitely go back and I hope u like it. Enjoy!!

Disappointing for what you spend. This place is always freezing and they never have the heat on in winter. The excuse is… people keep opening the door to come in. 2 of us ordered salads and I ordered fried cauliflower bites for dinner plus we wanted tavern fries. Their salads came out, but we had to wait for my cauliflower bites and fries for about 15 more minutes. I told the others to eat and not wait for mine. Our server was a sweetheart which was the redeeming factor for the night. We came to see a band which was set up in the absolute worst place in the whole space. Right near the front entrance. When it got crowded it was very difficult to get out the door Not sure this is a great venue for large bands. Not in any hurry to go back. It’s not my first time being there.

Food is good. Watched the owner stand around with the entire male staff talking sports while the two female workers tried to manage the whole restaurant on a busy night. Then he fired one of the girls for making a mistake. The things you notice when you go out solo. It’s a pity, the food was really good. But I’m not going to be a patron to that. You shouldn’t be either. There’s plenty of other good places to eat on Lee.

I’ve dined here 4 times and the service was horrible 3 of those. The food is ok, service is hit or miss. An hour and 45 minutes in the restaurant consistently. Complacent servers. We walked in and the girl who on the patio ignored us completely and went ahead and serviced the larger party. Tonight the food came out wrong and it was sent back. The replacement was not much better. Our dessert never came to the table. The guy could ve offered an apology or made ammends. Unconcerned. I was told they’re short staffed. No problem. Other places in town are not.

It was super busy last night when we were there, but what lacked in timeliness was made up for in tastiness! Everything was delicious! We all ordered burgers, tavern fries and garlic aioli, so freaking good! The patio is lovely, we will definitely return.

It’s still Covid so take this review with that in mind…. The patio is cute – flowers at one end and lights strung for atmosphere. Wasn’t loud even when crowded and tables were spaced well. It was busy on a Friday night. The waitress was fabulous but the food runner seemed surprised we needed utensils. My veggie burger was delicious!!!! My boyfriends walleye was over cooked.
