My wife and I had a date night so we decided to go to the Tewksbury Inn in Tewksbury NJ. Our server, Eric, was outstanding. He knew the menu and also what the bar had in stock and helped us with our drinks. He was personable, easy to talk to, and attentive without being intrusive. My wife had the cream of mushroom soup, which she enjoyed. I had the arugula salad with strawberries and Brie. It was good, could have used a bit more balsamic vinaigrette. She had the steak AU poivre, and I had the strip steak with crispy fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Both were very good. We both shared the dessert special of the evening. Milk chocolate mousse cake with strawberries and a side of ice cream. The mousse cake was a bit dense, but tasty. The atmosphere in the room it was a bit loud. We had two groups of people that were celebrating, that’s fine, a bit loud for a date night. Overall, it was a nice evening, I recommend this restaurant highly.

First time dining here. Drove by several times over the years. Definitely a different vibe here. Feels rustic and colonial. Dining in an historic house is interesting! Went on a Monday night and it was PACKED because wine bottles were 50% off!

Food, service and ambiance are good – but just good. The menu is definitely limited and I’ve had my food served cold a couple of times. Bathrooms are not only 20 years outdated and in need of updating but absolutely filthy. There are actual spiderwebs covering the restrooms and complete filth 100% of the time I’ve been in them.

I really love this quaint resturant. We ate outside on the patio. They were alittle light staffed so not as attentive as I would like but everything we had was excellent and the waitress was very friendly as well. The salmon on pita sandwich was really tasty. I will get that again. The fresh fruit side was really freshly cut fruit. Always enjoy our visits to this resturant.

Great spot in Tewksbury. Great little outdoor spot or eat indoors. I recommend making a reservation. I ate the steak fritte which was delicious, and had the blue cheese and bacon salad, which was similar to a traditional wedge salad, but way better and incredibly tasty. I also had the calamari which was incredible. If cocktails are your thing, I had two Manhattan’s and glad I didn’t have to drive home. They certainly don’t water down the drinks.

What an absolute gorgeous Nj gem that Tewksbury Inn is. After living in the area for 2 years, I finally carved out the time to try this place and boy was I glad I did. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was fine dining but very relaxed and casual. Don’t miss dessert. I had the peanut butter brownie. Yum! Can’t wait to go back!

First time trying this restaurant – I called ahead enroute and was going to get takeout because they were almost closing and I didn’t want to feel rushed. The younger woman on the phone asked if we wanted to dine in and it was such a good choice! Our server Ann was amazing! Every food recommendation she gave was great! The service was fast and extremely friendly even though we came 30 minutes before closing. We didn’t feel rushed, there was no hovering and she always showed up just in time. Through and through an excellent restaurant, excellent food (especially the God’s Gift to man chocolate mouse cake) and great customer service! Will be back for sure! ❤️

Excellent! The food and presentation at The Tewksbury Inn was perfect. This was our first visit and we enjoyed the food in a wonderful outside dining experience with a very friendly staff. From the fries and buffalo wing appetizers to the excellent filet mignon and salmon, we enjoyed every bite and the food was perfectly cooked. The deserts were also very good as we had the Classic strawberry cheesecake and the key lime pie. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant and it has now become part of my top ten in Jersey!
