This place is insanely good. The owner let me try the slow roasted pork before deciding on what to get and it was amazing! He hooked me up with a few extra tostones as well. Meat was very tender and delicious, great food spot when you’re craving a hearty home cooked meal.

For all the negative reviews I’ve seen for this place – any small local business has its challenges so be patient! Also for anyone who says it’s dry or bland, it’s all about perspective and what you expect something to taste like. You want more flavor, they could add salt to bring it out. But then there’s another review that it’s too salty. There is no business ever that can please every over pretentious Karen so be kind and give Grace. My actual review below.

This place was AMAZING! Absolutely delicious, cooked fresh, authentic Puerto Rican food. Walter was so kind, and the man can cook! He even gave us an extra plate of arroz con gandules as he was closing up. I live in Leander and will definitely be back.
