Who says a ‘bar’ can’t serve up good eats?! Wow, what a very pleasant ‘find’ of a place! Surprisingly, it wasn’t just deep fried or greasy pub food. We had a great experience. Service was excellent and the cook personally came to our table to check on our satisfaction with our order. I hope to make this a regular trip on any night of the week. A fun, great place to grab a cold one, watch a sports game on a number of TVs and kick back for a no rush experience.

Nice local bar with good food. They do a $7.95 lunch special. I can’t get past the Bacon Cheeseburger and onion rings. It’s so good!

Kay, Jamie and Lance are killing it. New cook and management is on point. Recommend the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. Hosts AHL poker. Two pool tables and space is very accommodating.

First and only visit, the bartender reported double the already generous tip on the bill left by a member in my party. The whole party was tipping generously to the bartenders all night…the tip miraculously doubled upon inspection of credit card transactions and statements the following day. The party member (who was visiting) called and left multiple voicemails to the manager/owner in order to correct…he never received a call back. Don’t plan on ever returning.

Kind of what you would call a hidden gem as it is tucked in the corner of the business strip. There is a DJ occasionally, food hasn’t been more than bar food, room to dance, and the drink prices are average but I would stick with well drinks if you want to stay cheap. Been here many times now and the bartender Marissa is amazing! If I were rating this place solely on her we would be at 5 stars. Due to a recent visit I cannot rate it 5 stars even though at one time I did and potentially would again in the future.

Good little dive bar. Food was good. No wait staff. Bartender was having to take orders and deliver food. I’ll go back. 16 oz draft beer was $3.00

I was served rotten mashed potatoes. Before I noticed that they were gray and smelled sour, I took a bite. It was terrible, of course. The rest of the food tasted as you’d expect bar food to taste.

Think of a basic, neighborhood bar… This is exactly what you picture. Generic, national beers on tap, no local crafts at all. That being said, the apps we tried came out hot and crisp and the beer that we did get (Yuengling and Leinenkugal summer shandy) was cold and on clean tap lines. It’s a clean place and friendly, just nothing that makes it stand out. I might come back one day to try more food, but until they get something craft on tap (Wild Acre, Martin house, Saint Arnold, False idol, etc..) I’m just not intrigued.

We visited here last Friday and our waitress was so nice and helpful! She was running the front end and bar on her own and she did great! The food was really good and good drinks too! So happy that someone has moved in to make this a cute little neighborhood bar!! They are expanding and will have pool additional seating maybe? Can’t wait to find out! Keep up the good work Thirsty T!
