On our recent mini vacation to Vero Beach, we were quite fortunate to discover THE TIDES restaurant! Our experience was incredible from beginning to end! Our server, Joanie, was superb! She went above and beyond any expectations to provide us the ultimate dining experience and her smile was contagious! The entire staff is so professional, polite and go beyond any assigned responsibilities to accommodate their guests to provide paramount customer service! The restaurant atmosphere is so cozy and intimate. The food is so enticing and truly AMAZING! The food presentation is exquisite! The owner/chef, Leanne, is a remarkable Chef de Cuisine and the restaurant deserves the highest award of three Michelin Stars! We spoke with one of the managers, Amy, after our extraordinary meals and she displayed such an engaging personality! We truly enjoyed speaking with her! The Tides restaurant is surely a perfect reason for visiting Vero Beach more often! We are so delighted to share the finding of such a GEM restaurant with everyone we know and meet!

Probably the best restaurant in the area. Excellent food including their pan seared crab cakes for 20, macadamia nut crusted snapper for 38, herb crusted chicken saltimboca for 32. They also had an excellent duck pasta with mushrooms. At last their dessert with bread pudding with icecream was great.

Unfortunately, I cannot rate our dining experience five or even four stars. The food was mediocre at best. One person in our party ordered an old fashioned-it was served with crushed ice, which watered it down before it even arrived at the table. The bread was sparse (4 individual pieces of bread with 4 little muffins, like it came from other uneaten bread baskets)and came with hard butter. The calamari was dry and salty. Our salads were very good, but the entrees were not what we expected, given all the five star reviews about the food. Our server was excellent and the ambience is very nice, but overall we were disappointed, given the robust prices. Also, we had reserved our table in person over a month ahead-actually walked into the restaurant with the woman and requested a specific corner table (table 3). When the hostess brought us in, we were placed at a different table that was prone to foot traffic. Wish it could have been a better experience.

My first fine dining experience did not disappoint!! We were in town for a short while and The Tides had no availability until after we left. We figured we’d show up early to get a seat at the bar but little did we know that people arrive at the bar by 4 pm WHICH IS AN HOUR BEFORE OPENING! That’s a little… rude in my opinion but whatever. The hostess was still able to get us a table; I was so happy I can say with confidence there is NOTHING that you could order that wouldn’t be amazing. Our waiter was so young but so polite and friendly and knowledgeable! The location was very quaint and had a relaxed atmosphere. They even have an option to make a future reservation and have a multiple course meal tailored to your likes with wine paired specifically to your food this place is a foodie’s dream ❤️
