I’ve been meaning to go here for a very long time as I keep reading in the local paper what a great member of the Vernon community they are. They helped COVID victims with meals and now they have a giant “Support Police” sign on the store as well. We all hit small businesses for our fund raisers, etc., now is the time to pay them back. It was a bonus the employees were super friendly and the food was great. A real local treat!

I stopped in for the first time at The Tracks Deli this morning. Full disclosure…the owner is a childhood friend of mine. However, that has no bearing on my review of the food. I had their Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll. One of the best in the state. Too many deli’s skimp on the Taylor ham and only give you 2 or 3 slices. Not here. They load 4 slices and are also generous with the cheese. As I was chatting with my old friend, I heard several conversations between customers and the counter help (who are wicked friendly, by the way…) about their homemade soups. So before I left I chose two to bring home and try for dinner. The stuffed pepper soup and the seafood (crab/corn) chowder were delicious. There were 6 other choices on the chalkboard that I wish I could have also tasted. Next time, for sure! If you haven’t stopped in and seen the renovated space (complete with a working fireplace), you’re missing one of the best delicatessen’s in the state!

I came here look mg for a new Vernon breakfast option other than the mixing bowl (which is great). And I was pleasantly surprised. Looks like an old train station from the outside (which it probably is). Very fresh, tasty food. Awesome nyc-ish breakfast sandwiches. I got an everything bagel with bacon and egg..terrific. And my wife got the same, on a roll. A few tables and chairs outside. I’ll be back.

Disgusting, changed owners and they don’t care, I ordered a bacon sandwich with bacon well done, what do I get? Raw bacon. Will never come back

The sandwiches are always made fresh, have not eaten anything other than that here. The cooked food always smells great. Everyone that works here is responsive and friendly.

Not only does this deli have awesome, fresh and tasty food and the best soups around but we had them cater a party for us last weekend. The food was amazing! I literally had almost everyone there ask me where we got it from. It was absolutely delicious. Thank you Scott! You are now our go to for catering.

Been getting more and and more disappointed in the breakfast sandwiches. Things have to be on the grill for more than 2 minutes to be cooked. Cheap gross cheese. 2 tiny pieces of Taylor ham and a cold soggy hashbrown but still top $

Second attempt to get a roast beef sandwich with sufficient amount of meat in there, but was disappointed again. Not worth $10 that’s for sure.

Was with a group and several of us got an omelet. All who did agreed that it was ok, nothing special. Thus the feel that group generally felt about the place.

Had a major craving for a fresh thick juicy cheeseburger and the tracks deli did not disappoint. The meat was extremely fresh, cooked exactly the way I wanted, the cheese was generous served on a soft Kaiser bun. Thank you so much I will be ordering this next time I have a major craving for a great cheeseburger.
