We came in on a day it was obvious they were short handed, My Husband and I didn’t mind it, We understood, it was obvious all the employees were rushing around. Had a very bad experience over what We felt like was over our Race. We’re Hispanic, sat there for well over 30 minutes at a table, ignored, never acknowledged (again, we were understanding of that being that they were busy UNTIL) in that half hour noticed 3 other tables come in, all African American, choose tables, and sit down. We watch as a Manager/or could be the owner (was definitely someone in charge also African American) come by and greet those tables, apologize, one table even got a complimentary appetizer for the wait, all while servers, Manager, walked numerous times past our table never acknowledging us. It was like We weren’t even sitting there. Another Woman at the table next to us had to kindly let us know about there being an extended wait and how She too had been notified personally by the Manager. She too was African American. Literally felt like they were intentionally running non-Black business out the door. We won’t bother coming back, and seeing how the person in charge was managing, can only assume they could care about losing our business anyway.

I came in on Saturday night and was told it wouldn’t be ready for an hour. The greeter was nice but the young ladies who took our order could’ve been nicer. Food was worth the wait I was delightfully surprised. We were told and hour and it was exactly that. Happy I gave this place a chance. I read all the negative comments and didn’t see any about food so I wanted to support. The place gives almost a lounge type vibe not sure if that was how they wanted it but again we came at night. My only suggestion is that they set times on when Turkey legs are available and have a phone number on Google so people can call and find out ahead of time before ordering; maybe even have a website that can give real time on if turkey legs are available.

Man tried to experience this location for a first time but wow‼️ Ordered at 5:30 Party of 3 and at 7:07pm I’m still waiting on my order … Definitely not satisfied with this. Nice establishment but absolutely not worth that wait …

I was very excited to try out this restaurant. The food arrived after 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting. 1min more and I was leaving . I hate to be mean, but the service sucked. They need to train their staff because my entire section, including other tables, complained about our waitress. She never checked on us once and was not attentive at all. When the food arrived, it was cold. Because customers were dissatisfied with the service, some employees had negative attitudes. I’ve never had such poor service. I will say that the corn bread dressing was delicious, and the food was tasty but not hot. It’s sad to see so many negative reviews on the first weekend open, this just shows that more training was required. I believe it is safe to say that the waitress who worked tonight will not be around for long. Until they change entire operation I will not support this restaurant.

The only good thing about this place is the food after getting everyone orders wrong after waiting an hour and a half for the food. I regretted doing my meeting at such a poorly run business .I will call in my orders from now on

Good food, music and vibe. But that’s where the good times end. Upon entering we were told it would be at least 30 minutes before any food comes out. Also, they were out of stuffed turkey wings and regular smoked turkey wings would be 45-90 minutes wait. We found out some remaining menu items we ordered were unavailable after we ordered it just to find out it was available again right before it came out. No plates for sharing. No bar menu. Out of most condiments. It seemed like the kitchen staff was not communicating with the servers. This spot has potential, they just need to fine tune their customer service, management and communication.

Today was my 3rd time visiting. On our 1st day 10/20/22 we waited over an hour and only received our drinks and fries pickles. Got tired of waiting and left. On 10/22/22 they were out of yams, Koolaid, dressing, and turkey legs so we left. On today 10/23/22 I received my food in good amount of time but the quality of the food was not up to par. The bowls were steaming hot but the food was cold. The problem is the people in the kitchen. The waitresses should not have to take the blame for cold food. They really need to learn how to supply the demand with decent quality food.

I visited this morning. The atmosphere was nice. The establishment was clean and the staff was kind. I Ordered 2 to go Mac & Cheese stuffed turkey legs. Before I opened the container I smelled the smokey aroma. The mac and cheese was excellent. The turkey leg had the perfect taste. Price point was good. I might not be able to save my husbands until tomorrow. Overall GREAT experience and GOOD food. I absolutely loved it. Welcome to Cedar Hill. May your establishment be blessed abundantly. I will definitely be back. Don’t take my word for it. Go and check them out.

Looking at some of the past reviews, I think that people are too impatient and then expect perfection. I had to wait as well but I know that smoked meats take time to tenderize and be excellent. (Don’t rush it) if you had a long wait it was probably just a bad time to be there. When I got my food it was fantastic! Turkey was tender and dressing was off the chain! Sophia was one of the best bar tenders I’ve ever had. She was very funny, friendly and accommodating. Thank you all! I’ll be going back and bringing friends and a cigar for the patio!

We waited an hour only to not get our food. The Manager comes by to tell us they were 2 hours behind before we ordered. He could either cancel or we could continue to wait. This is why it’s hard to support the businesses. No customer service skills, slow service. There were too many people working for that horrible of service! We left, never to return!! Beware!!!!!
