Let me start by saying , I have found my favorite wings ever!!!! I came here a few times with my family and the wings were ok but recently I have been coming and everything has been fresh , crispy and seasoned well. I asked who was the cook and now that I know I literally will only come when Tony is working. He makes the best fried food. I have tried the fries , hush puppies, calamari , cat fish platter and crab cakes as well and it’s always amazing. When I say fried to perfection , I MEAN PERFECTION!!

The wife ordered the king crab and headless shrimp with the corn and potatoes. I had the catfish and hush puppies. The food was spectacular, the service was okay, but the waitress made up for it with a great personality.

Excellent food, different selection of seafood boils everybody can choose their flavor and heat level. Comes in individual little bags, gloves and bib optional (they give them to you, I optionally decided not to wear them!)

I’ll start off by saying I’m a huge twisted crab fan I love seafood broils. It is one of my and my girlfriends favorites. So we decided to take her sister and we go in get seated right away wich was great. 40 minutes pass by haven’t seen our server, I walk up to the register and inform them hey we have been here for 40 minutes and have yet to even be asked what we would like to drink yet alone order food. The lady tells me they will be right over so I return to my seat and proceed to wait 15 to 20 more minutes before a server finally shows up. Thankfully she took our order as well with our drink order. Food came out quickly and was fantastic after that but our server was still lagging behind. I will say they did have a large party so I am understanding of some wait but when employees are just standing around and associating you aren’t to busy to take a order. I’m honestly torn with this experience since most generally it is overall pleasant but now I will think twice before returning.

We went into Twisted Crab, not really knowing what we were going to order. My husband started out with wings and I ordered the clam chowder, which I didn’t like. It was too floury. So I ate my husbands wings, which were very good and he ate the chowder. The we ordered a pound of crab legs and a pound of shrimp. It came with 2 1/2 corn cobs and 2 small red potatoes. Boiled with the seafood and seasoned and oiled in the bag with the seafood. We have always been served butter on the side. Never has a seafood boil been served to us all greasy like that. But we didn’t complain, just asked for it to go. Our server seemed very unhappy, like she didn’t like serving people. My husband tipped her 20%. As we were leaving we saw a sign that said free drinks with a pound of seafood. So we should have gotten a drink or two with our order, since we ordered two pounds. He asked our server why she didn’t tell us about the special. She said it wasn’t her job to tell us. Then she went off on my husband, flinging her arms around and swearing. The seafood boil was nasty, over cooked, over spiced and in a pool of oil. No it wasn’t butter, it didn’t solidify in the fridge. Bad food, bad service. No going back there.

New restaurant in Norfolk but good reputation. I had to try it and have the experience of this southern cuisine wich for some people is great but my European roots are kind of different. The stuff was great and attentive. The mgr was incredible . The food it was good as I said so I am not regretting trying it. Not my cup of tea but if you like this kind of food you will love it. Enjoy it .

Got the F2 Family meal with a group. Was served the F1 meal. Delicious food, but not what we ordered. Brought it to our servers attention. She proceeded to “rectify” it for 15 minutes. Same bill. We paid for it and left to avoid the hassle. Disappointed. Given the quality of food.

Didn’t experience the food. Went in, and girl at the front said they weren’t seating anymore, but we could order to-go. We said ok and took a menu since she then walked off. My family and I decided what we wanted and flagged someone down, since no one came back to get our orders. Girl that came towards us said kitchen was closed. We stated that someone just told us we can order to-go, and she walked off. Terrible first impression for me…and haven’t even tried the food. (On top of finally finding parking to be disappointed.)

We went for an early lunch this afternoon. When we first arrived we were the only ones there. About 15 minutes later two more people came in. I ordered crab legs and a lobster tail with onion rings. The waitress asked if we wanted ketchup. We replied yes. I watched her hold an entire conversation with a fellow employee the go in the back. She had to be tracked down to get it. I was not given crackers to crack the shells. After requesting some the waitress went to the back. She emerged 10 minutes later with something for the other table. As I sat there while my food was getting cold. She eventually glanced in my direction and saw me looking at her then remembered that she was supposed to be getting me some crackers. Right after being given the crackers she walked away and as I picked them up I could see they were not clean. So I had to wait again while my food continued to get cold. The lobster was over cooked. The onion rings were the best part of my meal. I went to the restroom and discovered it was FILTHY!! The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the onion rings were good. I can imagine how much worse it could have been if the restaurant was busy.
