The Ugly Onion catered our 100+ person outdoor party this summer. The timing of the appetizers and dinner worked perfectly to allow kids and adults to snack and then get pizza when they were ready to eat. We had a large selection of pizzas, all of which were delicious. Favorites included the Vermonter, the Margarita, and the Vegan pizzas. The chefs were able to judge what our guests were enjoying and then make more of that type of pizza. We received lots of compliments from our guests. I highly recommend for events or just an awesome weekday pie. Thanks to all the friendly staff at the Ugly Onion for helping make our event a success.

We hired the Ugly Onion for our 30 person wedding this August. They were very responsive, flexible and easy to work with on the planning side of things. On the day of, their service was professional and friendly! They belt fed us some of the most delicious appetizers and pizza I have had. Their selection of pizzas is quite unique with recipes that I would never had imagined. The concept of the mobile pizza oven is really cool and also flexible to your event. Watching their awesome staff making pizzas under the Montana vista was really one of a kind. I would definitely recommend the Ugly Onion for any kind of event you wish throw.

Tried them out for the first time tonight and ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza! It was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! You can tell that everything is fresh! Will go again and try their vermonter next time! It was a pleasure meeting you guys! Thanks for the yummy pizza!

FIVE STARS!!! We’ve had The Ugly Onion catered twice for family events. The wood fired pizza was fantastic. I especially loved their Vermont Pizza. Apple, bacon and cheddar cheese yum!! I also love that they are environmentally conscientious-they use produce and other ingredients that would normally be discarded. I enthusiastically recommend!

Ugly Onion catered late night pizza at my wedding, and let me tell you it was a highlight for all! Months later and my guests still talk about how delicious the “apple bacon pizza” was, and how the food allowed them to keep dancing the night away. The Ugly Onion team gracefully handled serving pizza to a bunch of drunken kooks and made everyone’s evening brighter, and more delicious, because of it. They were even kind enough to make two pies for myself and my new hubby to take home at the end of the night since we missed getting slices earlier on…talk about the best damn thing to wake up to the morning after your wedding (aside from a new husband I GUESS)!!! Max and Greta are so easy and friendly to work with and honestly it makes my day every time I see their set up at any public event now. That plus the fact that they value locally sourced produce!!! One million stars for Ugly Onion!!!

IF you like a cheese pizza this may be the place for you, BUT if you think the “Meat Lovers” pizza should have plenty of meat, choose another place. We ordered two large pizza’s and were very surprised at the small amount of toppings on them. Mainly just cheese. Probably should have opened the boxes there rather than home.

The Vermonter was to die for. I’m not from Bozeman but I will make a trip out just to go back. Everything was perfectly done right. I like my pizza with not too many toppings as opposed to loaded. The only thing I wish was that the size of pizza was bigger because I want to eat more of each one.
