Disappointed. This place has a lot of potential but lousy execution. Food was decent at best. We were there on a Sunday for brunch, and I was a little leery when the parking lot was empty. We ended up being the only customers during the entire 90 minute meal. Appealing menu but they missed the mark with my chicken and waffles. My waffle was basic, with shredded cheddar cheese, and 4 tiny chicken wings. Basically bar food for entree price. I would not recommend ordering the dish. The wings were decent but when I requested ranch, it took forever. The server returned finally and apologized for the delay. She told me they had to run to the grocery store next door, to buy more ranch. Yikes! They also didn’t have any kind of hot sauce. The restaurant was nice on the inside, and we were excited to learn about kareoke and other events, since we live nearby… but we won’t be returning for that. The food and service was disappointing, and seemed over priced for what we received. This restaurant seems neglected and needs some TLC.

Love Thursday night Karaoke night. Love the atmosphere however the service is not up to standard. Waited 1 hour to get my food, waiting staff friendly but never comes back to check on your table unless they are bringing you the bill or food. Someone in our party got their bill before their food after waiting over an hour. I couldn’t even get napkins which is standard. I have been plenty times and just stop ordering food cause the kitchen staff must have to hunt and kill what is served it takes so long. Food actually taste okay. I was baffled at my chicken wings tonight. More like chicken nubs the end bones had been cut off on all but 2 pieces. I ate it cause I was hungry and fear of waiting another hour for fresh food. I love to support Black Owned businesses but we must do better in this establishment. Again Karaoke Thursdays is great and it’s a hidden gem just needs better service, more staff, more cooks and more hospitality.

Awesome customer service and delicious food. CJ and Chef Williams make you feel really appreciated!! With customer service like this, you definitely have to make this your spot!! Great Westside food and entertainment. Wednesday night-line dancing. Thursday-karaoke, Friday and Saturday- live music and dancing. Did I mention the food is delicious. The catfish and fried chicken was seasoned perfectly, the grits did not need salt, pepper or sugar which is rare for me.

The place is very nice and clean well decorated. We only had the appetizers but they were truly lacking in flavor. The salsa was made from canned tomatoes they could have at least used small caned tomatoes. There is a recipe online for salsa using small diced tomatoes out of the can. The spinach artichoke dip was lacking in flavor. I truly love the décor, but I would not eat a meal here. The drinks were amazing, and the wine list was acceptable.

Went during the day and it wasn’t too busy which I like. The owner was very nice and asked us for our feedback. Our waitress, Liliana was very sweet. The food was delicious and not expensive. I will go back.

Understaffed and overpriced. 1st and last time we will eat there. Maybe back for drinks but not for the food. Took 22 minutes to get a somewhat cold beer and a Cosmo. Food came out at the 50 min mark. Hamburgers looked good but the meat was days old, had to pay extra for the fries that tasted stale and cooked in fish oil. Too bad. We were looking forward to a good drink and meal…..

Vegetarian review. So there are are a few options for people who don’t eat meat, but I am highly disappointed in the Mac and cheese and the flaming bananas foster. The Mac and cheese had No cheese, it tasted like butter noodles. Highly disappointed, especially since it states it is black owned… let me know if you need a recipe. The dessert came out with a cake in the middle surrounded by a melted ice cream soup with strong taste or bourbon (but I was not complaining ) I have pictures but it won’t let me post.

First time having dinner and wasnt disappointed. Kudos to the Chef for talking with us and accommodating our food requests. Catfish nuggets, sweet potatoe fries, Wings, Shrimp and Grits, all very good and cooked with lots of flavor! All the servers were very friendly and made our visit fun! Great happy hour drinks! Another added bonus was the owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming in. Great place, felt appreciated and welcomed! Will be back!
