I can’t say enough wonderful things about The UXLocale – the food, the staff, and the overall environment are everything you would want in a dining experience. I go as often as I can and the food never disappoints. Most times I want to start eating so quickly that I manage to leave without any photos of the meal! You can’t go wrong with any of the pastas or pizzas, and don’t even get me started on the desserts. It also doesn’t hurt that the owner (along with her wonderful staff) is one of the kindest and brightest people – she truly pours her heart into every meal and you can tell that with just one bite. Five stars aren’t enough, but they’ll have to do for now.

Whether it’s one of the creative and thoughtfully prepared daily specials or a wood-fired oven pizza with crust as good as its toppings, The UxLocale offers exceptionally delicious food. The chef’s passion and flare for food, tradition, creativity and community are clear. UxLocale has some of the best wood-fired pizza I’ve ever tasted. My favorite is the traditional pepperoni, another favorite of my friends is the Mac Daddy Pizza with hamburger, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed pizza. Pasta favorite is the delicious bolognese. The restaurant can get busy so theres sometimes a wait for a table. They do take reservations for large groups. During nicer weather, there’s usually plenty of room on the patio. Takeout orders can be a challenge and the hours takeout is available is usually based on the dine in volume. For example, I called at 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon to order takeout and was told they were not taking orders until after 7:30.

Another fabulous dinner enjoyed at the Ux tonight! I had the fresh garlic scape & Parmesan risotto which was outstanding. (I’m picky about my risotto & the Ux does it the best!) I tasted my husband’s prime rib….Wow that prime rib was so delicious & the mashed potatoes were so creamy & flavorful. We loved it all!!
