The Valkyrie in North Muskegon has rebranded and is focused on creating a dining experience with seasonal and fresh forward menu options and elevated cocktails. We have lunch combo specials, trivia Tuesdays, karaoke and 1/2 off bottles of wine Wednesdays, music bingo Thursdays, live music Saturdays, cornhole and darts on the outside patio, axe throwing, and with Sunday rentals available for private events! First time visiting and it was worth every minute! The spinach and artichoke dip was out of this world! Matt our server was wonderful and very quick to bring our orders with a big smile. Loves the variety of different items on the menu but it made it very hard to pick! 🙂 Plan to visit many many more times!

Service was not great, waitress was very nice, there two weeks only. Great atmosphere, food portions small for the price. Stay away from the Italian sandwich, small portion and not great. Get the chicken sandwich, it looked amazing, menu is limited, we were told a new menu is coming. Nice place would like it to see it succeed.

Wonderful higher end dining. Little more expensive than average restaurant, but worth the price. Lamb, steak, fish and burgers are the main dishes. Craft beer, unique mixed drinks and a wine list. Lower end 12 for dinner and higher is near 30. Wait staff very knowledgeable and handled our table of 20 with ease, dealing with multiple dietary restrictions. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Steak cooked to perfection with a wonderful glaze and burgers were divine. There’s ax throwing too, for some recreation but not disrupting the serenity of a wonderful meal. Live music was very nice too, not too loud.

My husband and I had dinner and drinks here for the first time last weekend. At that point, the restaurant had only been open for 3 weeks. The staff is still learning, but they did a great job! The drinks were spot on and the food was amazing! We say at that bar and received excellent service. Their wine selection is one of the best you’ll ever encounter! Highly recommend!

Food and drinks were very good and several things on the menu looked good enough that I will be going back to try them as well. The only thing was it took a long time for drinks but I think that’s because there was only one bartender and I know several of the drinks ordered took a long time to make, as it was so she was a bit outnumbered. If they had a second bartender I believe everything would have gone smoother.

Valhalla Burger was a well balanced mix with not one flavor more than another, house fries were delicious and crispy as was the truffle fries. Also had the Farmers cheese which include a soft pretzel bun/stick for dipping into the cheese and just melts in your mouth. Service was spectacular and the environment relaxing.

When I went here back in August I couldn’t say enough about the food and service. I absolutely loved it. I finally got my husband to go with me tonight and was very disappointed. The menu has changed quite a bit and not for the better. We waited quite a while for our drinks. We ordered Manhattans and they came in what I would call a champagne glass with no ice. Really? Before when I went I raved about the service too. Tonight was another story. Screw ups with the bill(I know that can happen anywhere), but it was how it was handled. In my opinion the restaurant was not up to its high standard that it had this last summer.
