Wasn’t too thrilled with the Varsity and what a shame since it’s been only open for a few weeks. To start off, there is no indoor seating like there was at other locations. Everything is outside and with how hot it has been, that’s just not an option. The food was correct, fresh and hot. BUT we only ordered fries and onion rings because the price is a bit high considering what you get. The food tasted okay but sadly just doesn’t justify the $ we spent on it. I gave service 3 stars because the cashier lady was nice, otherwise that would be a 2 star as well because of how quickly people were getting their food and leaving in the drive through verses those who actually parked to get their food. Overall, it’s a bit disappointing. We don’t plan to go back.

The parking lot is chaotic. They did not design the place for a larger crowd. Police are there most days to assist. The food was no where near what I would expect from a Varsity. Even the one that closed in Athens had better quality. Tiny hot dogs and not done onion rings. Left feeling hungry after spending $12 per person for meal. Ordered pies and they were ok, but would not order those again. There is no inside seating. Many flies on food while trying to eat. The only bright spot was the orange drink and orange shake. Those were as good as always.

Ms.Kellie was extremely accommodating for for our group of 4!! They were extremely busy and we had brought our 93 year old mom to enjoy the varsity. She pulled out an extra table and chairs so could enjoy our food. Very friendly!

This place was packed at 3:30 on a Wednesday ! At least 20 cars in the drive thru so we found a parking space…. got in line to order at one of 2 walk up windows which had about 10 ppl in it but moved pretty fast! Only outdoor seating at this location and we were happy to find a table just being vacated. I’m not normally an outdoor eater but there was a breeze and no flying insects so it was very pleasant. Would’ve given 5 stars but my onion rings were undercooked making them pretty hard to bite the chili slaw dog and the chili cheese burger were delicious as was the frosted orange! Varsity for me is a rare occasion so I do enjoy it when I go! I would say give it a try but by the looks of it everybody is !

Looks great the place is new. When I was eating the fries it felt like I was eating the leftover fries that no one eats. I got the burger with bacon…..idk if they simply didn’t cook it or what happened. Honestly I don’t know if I’ve ever eaten a worse burger. I gave up on the second bite. First time experience…..not willing to try it again.

I’ve been there 3 times so far. 1st time Got my order wrong. 2nd time got a large with my meal was nothing but carbonated water. 3th time today had to repeat my order 3 times still they got it wrong again. Ask for onions on the side still can’t seem to get them. Went told of the problem the only response was were sorry. She was right The Varsity is SORRY!!! Never will go back there again. Have been a customer of there’s since 1972

Went by around lunch time and ordered #1 and #2 at drive thru. They had drive thru moving ok but could take a lesson from chic fil a drive thru (can’t imagine Georgia game days). 2nd time ordering at this location and disappointed in the food compared to Norcross. Fries were cold and the pinion rings were too thick and not fully cooked (no crunch) , chill taste different too on hotdogs and burger.

Although it was a bit busy when I went due to it being the opening week, the team there handled it great and got me my food relatively quickly. The food was also as good as its ever been at any other Varsity location. Im also just glad this location is finally open! Lol. Its been quite a long time in the making, but it was worth the wait
