The food was good, and the steak was very flavorful. The side salad was small and could have used more lettuce or a smaller bowl. It took over an hour to get the food. The waitress denied a 58 year old man a beer because he didn’t have his ID with him.

Steak was great, prices are fair. Waitress said they have dozens of beer choices but couldn’t tell me what they were and had no printed list. Not sure if I paid for the appetizer that never came since the bill wasn’t itemized. Overall, I’ll give it another try.

First of all, I wanted to mention that this place is does serve children. They even have a kids menu now and this just started earlier this week. Overall, it wasn’t my favorite restaurant of all time, but it wasn’t the worst either. It is pretty slow during the week and there computer system for processing credit is working, although I’m not sure they take all types of credit.

I’ve been eating at The Vault on a regular basis for awhile and have always enjoyed their steaks. Unfortunately, the last few times I’ve ate there, the steak I ordered was overcooked and did not taste as good. I was very disappointed for a $30 meal. Maybe they are just training a new cook or something but I hope they get it lined out. I am a steak fanatic and would have ranked their steak with some of the best steak houses I’ve been to, but not the last few times I was there. The first time I thought it was just a fluke. But my steak has been overcooked the last 3 times I ate there. If it wasn’t for the sweet waitress, I would have threw a fit, but she looked like she was having a bad day anyway.

We love The Vault and will eventually go back but we waited over 70 minutes on a Monday night for a steak and wings. There were only two other tables and one already had their food. I’m not sure why it takes so long to get food. This has happened on multiple occasions. We didn’t get home until after 9 o’clock and paying for meal that takes so long is unacceptable. We just wanted a quiet relaxing evening out. We don’t want to spend over two hours at a restaurant in a work night. I’ve told many friends how good the steaks are at The Vault but I would be embarrassed to take anyone there only to have the wait be over an hour. Hopefully they can find a way to remedy the situation!

Stopped in last night and tried the Fried Pork Tenderloin. I split this meal with a friend and we both left feeling full. The prices on the menu were also very reasonable as well. Our only complaint was that our waitress wasn’t the greatest on getting us drinks.
