We went on Wednesday evening to try some place new, as this place came recommended from a friend. The staff was friendly, we sat at the bar, and the bar tender was attentive and gave recommendations and let me taste a few different IPAs. We started with the orange crushes, as they came highly recommended. They used a lot of fresh oranges and it was very good! (I think my husband drank his in like 1 minute! Lol.) We ordered food, which I was taking a while and couldn’t decide bc it all sounded good. The bartender told me what meals were popular. We decided to go with our go tos foe new spots. He got the chicken cheese steak as a “turn over” on their pizza dough. It was very delicious!!! The bread was so warm too! I got the bacon Bleu burger. It came out exactly how I ordered, medium, the meat patty was bigger than the bun, which was soooo soft and good, I think it was a brioche bun. It was very very good!!! We also got the curly fries, and an order of mozzarella. Our friend told us they have homemade ranch, so we asked for a side of that, an definitely better than regular ranch.

Update…I always feel welcome at The Vault! Back again today for a little Monday afternoon Father’s Day lunch. Same great service with our server (sorry I do not recall her name) doing another great job taking care of us. Once again the food was great. Prices reasonable. I am sure we will be back again!

The place is very clean and modern looking. My server was prompt and pleasant. I saw nothing remotely resembling what some of the negative reviewers are speaking about. The service was fantastic. The food was a little above average. By no means bad, but nothing that is going to wow you. The pizza is par for the course for the York, PA area. All in all a good local bar to have around. We need to support these places, as they are fast becoming a relic of the past.

Only four stars because of service. Service lacks, but food is wonderful. They are friendly most of the time, but I check my takeout order every single time now before I leave because the food is OFTEN not what we ordered, or something is missing from the order.

Excellent cheese fries. They slather them with cheese. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was ok. To me, it wasn’t worth the price but it was still decent to eat.

Wasn’t treated good. Worst experience ever anywhere. If I knew what I found out when I left, I would of never spent the amount of money I did for take out because we waited 30 minutes for a table next to someone we knew and to find out they had no intention of seating us. We originally were coming to get take out but people we knew asked us to stay to eat. I am having health issues so I decided to get it to go after waiting how long and then found out they were never going to seat us because I was never told I had to put my name in, only being told they do seating in sections or rotation or something like that. I don’t plan to go back for awhile after how I was treated. I would prefer to drive further for good service and food.

So I just ate here for the first time and I’ve gotta say, idk what people are talking about when they say the food is good lol. Nothing was seasoned! I got the seasoned curly fries and they didn’t have anything on them, they tasted like the frozen fries you get at the grocery store, they werent good.

This is the second bad experience I’ve had ordering food here. The first time they gave us a burger instead of a burger sub. Tonight we ordered 2 cheeseburger subs, neither even have cheese on them and the burger is so dry and flavorless.

We have been here about 2 dozen times and this place is great. I was curious about the one star reviews, so I read them. Seems the one star reviews are people with a political agenda. Block those out and check out the cheesesteak thing.., I forgot what its called – you will see it on menu when you go in.
