LOVE HEALS
Disappointing energy. Went in on a late evening, first let me say I am a very bubbly person because well why walk around being sad when that is meant for privacy. My opinion. So anyway went in with my sister, I seen great ratings for the food and atmosphere that I was like let’s go. Upon entry the welcoming was so dry. I even tried to ask the owner if he was having a bad night, he was drier in response and then asked me to order, I did not order anything because I did not like the service at all. I was excited to try especially when I seen it was a veteran owned establishment. ♥️Support our veterans.♥️ His attitude was not welcoming and was such a disturbing energy that I refused to eat and after my family finished their drinking, we went somewhere else to eat. I would not return. My sister enjoyed the pricing of the drinks, however the tater tots she ordered were dry. Like they were over fried, lacked seasoning, even when my sister adding Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and salt they were not impressive. At least I can say one thing positively, the owner was a equal opportunity rude service person.

First time here, we were in the area for another event and wanted something to eat and this was across the street from where we parked. I think the person who served us was nabbed Jeff but I could be wrong but he was wonderful letting my husband sample a beer first. We ordered an appetizer but unfortunately it was forgotten about and he didn’t realize til we were almost done with our food but he graciously apologized for the oversight had the appetizer made and didn’t charge us for it. Usually bar food and I liked it and would go again for some drinks and food.

Although, the staff was beyond friendly and welcoming, I was a bit disappointed in some of the food. I ordered the mushrooms and was looking forward to them, but unfortunately, every bite was blobs of grease/oil. And at $8.95 for the basket of mushrooms…it’s a bit over priced. The “regular” burger was ok; nothing super special. Great location, just needs a bit more.

My boyfriend and I have been here twice now. We think it’s cool that they have lumpia because Filipino food is hard to come by except in our own kitchen! I loved the Texas Western burger.

The food was great. The bartender said the ‘n’ word to my face and told me he’s not a skinhead. He said he’d just kicked a black woman out for saying the ‘n’ word, then happily said it to me. I agree with him; it’s a word that shouldn’t be used. I have never left a tip that wasn’t money before. Make sure your staff doesn’t use the ‘n’ word. I’m very surprised this needs to be said.
