Amazing. Four of us tried every appetizer! Absolutely the best. None of us could pick a favorite; everything was so superb. The atmosphere is wonderful in an historic hotel setting overlooking town. Incredible setting. Staff was attentive but not overwhelming. Best meal we’ve had in Estes in over two years.

I can’t give this place a full 5 stars just yet. I will update this review after our wedding reception takes place. In the meantime my fiancé and I have chose The View to host our wedding reception. Aki the manager/owner took his time showing us around and really made us feel at home. The venue is located in the Historic Crags Lodge and the “view” is amazing, hence the name of the restaurant! It has so much history and from the Amish made tables & chairs, to the crotched Europeans style valances, all the natural lighting and serene nature the place is so charming with a romantic feel. The famous family recipe 50+ years Old Fashion was delicious, went down too smooth! The cost of hosting a ceremony and reception are very reasonable. I read the reviews of how the food was (have not yet experienced this) but was very pleased with what other patrons had to say about the quality of the food. After having a great visit with Aki and taking account all that The View has to offer we felt comfortable to move forward and lock in our reception. I can’t wait to celebrate our BIG DAY with our family and friends at The View. More to come!

We had the most enchanting wedding experience at The View. My husband and I live in Texas and did not get a chance to visit before our big day but Aki, the owner, was so easy to work with and made wedding planning way less stressful. He did a FaceTime tour with us before booking and was always available via phone or email for any questions we had throughout the planning process. Aki and his staff made our day perfect and truly exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, with every request met promptly and with a genuine smile. The restaurant itself is stunning, inside and outside, and the food was DELICIOUS. My husband and I are already planning to come back to enjoy a nice dinner at The View. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines elegance, outstanding service, and a personal touch, The View is the place to choose. We’re forever grateful for the memories they helped us create on our special day.

This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Estes Park. We have been coming to Estes for over 40 years, and recently just discovered The View. The portions are beyond generous, the staff is friendly and helpful. The food has got to be one of the best places, if not the best place to eat in Estes Park.

We’ve been going to Estes for over 20 years and never knew about this hidden gem! My wife and I had our anniversary dinner setup here by our daughter online, and it was hands-down one of the top 3 best steaks I have ever had. My wife loved the salmon as well, but you know hard it is to get a filet cooked medium, right? Well this chef NAILED IT! Perfect crust on the outer & and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. Everything, from the view, ambiance, and every delicious bite was OUTSTANDING! Really, I have had $80 steaks that were not this good, so for less than half that? The ONLY suggestion (because I am a connoisseur, lol) would be to have Creme Brûlée on the menu…we WILL be back!

We can’t thank Aki and the staff at the View restaurant enough for making our wedding truly unforgettable! Aki’s communication throughout the planning process was friendly and timely. He was always responsive to our questions, and he went above and beyond to help fulfill our requests on food, drink, and decoration. The view from the ceremony site is spectacular, and it could easily fit our 100 guests. The reception site was also incredibly beautiful! The wall of windows filled the space with natural light and provided another great backdrop for pictures. Dinner was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic!

This was our first time here. We enjoyed ourselves and our server was friendly and accommodating. The ribeye was good, but average, and the Worcestershire butter was a nice added touch.The glaze and veggies on my chicken were very good, but sadly, about 2/3 of the chicken was rubbery. This is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber, and needs to be addressed. The mushroom pecorino risotto was delicious, and I could have dined on that alone and been content. Parking is dicey…plan on walking from the sandy/muddy, uneven lot and down a small hill–not the easiest if you’re wearing fancy shoes.

This is absolutely the most awesome place for a lovely dinner. The food is delicious. The empanada appetizer was amazing. My husband is a steak person and has had some very expensive steaks in some top restaurants, but he said, “handsdown, this was the beat steak he’s ever had.” There is absolutely nothing I would change about the drinks, meal, and service. I could see a beautiful wedding or sweet 16 here. The manager and his staff are beyond serviceable. I would have to say that you need a reservation and if you want a quick dinner this is not the place for you. However, if you have the time to sit and soak up the ambiance and enjoy the food, this is a must goto.
