We found this place after we went to Cave of the Mounds. It has good Google reviews so we figured we’d give it a shot. It didn’t disappoint. The bartender was friendly and recommended a couple beverages we’ve never had before. The food was outstanding. Burgers are made fresh daily and never frozen. My wife got a chicken bacon ranch wrap that was really good. The bar was clean and we even met the owner who we chatted with for 15-20 minutes. Super nice guy. A great little hidden gem in Mt Horeb. We’ll definitely come back just to eat here and we are about an hour and a half away.

We have come to MtHoreb for wrestling for the past few years, walk-on is a frequent stop. The service is good, food is good and the atmosphere is comfortable. If your in the mood for good bar food & a beer it’s a great stop. It will keep me coming back.

Really nice upscale bar. Nice tap beer selection and menu board has descriptions to help you decide. Good service and the owner was very friendly. We didn’t eat but the food looked very good. There is an upper level open on Saturday night and available for events

I have had a couple of great meals at the Viking, each one better than the last. Excellent, friendly service from the staff as well. A great addition to Mt. Horeb’s downtown atmosphere!!

Rolling thru town on a motorcycle ride on a lazy Saturday. Looking for lunch and a place to duck out of a passing rain shower. Stopped in and was thoroughly impressed with the first-rate service and fantastic food! I had an All American Burger with chips and my lady had the Cobb Salad with grilled chicken in lieu of deli turkey. My burger was wonderful and her salad, which I had a sizable sample of, was out of this world! I hope it’s just as good the next time because we will DEFINITELY be back again!

Visiting this cute town and bought 8 people including kids for lunch. Not only was the food fabulous…the owner Trey was fun, friendly and honest about all our selections. Thanks for making our afternoon!!

Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had. I substituted kraut for the onions. If you like sauerkraut, I would recommend. The tots were awesome. Crunchy and flavorful. I will definitely be back.

In town for business, but it was easy to tell this is a favorite local watering hole, and for good reason. Was surprised to be blown away by the food—wings were in the top 5 of best I’ve ever had, and sounds like the burgers are even better. Great beer selection with Toppling Goliath Pseudo Sue on draft. It was surprisingly busy for a Monday night in a small town, but the one bartender/server was efficient while maintaining a sense of humor (despite a bum knee!). And again, the cook really threw it down. To the owner/manger—the crew working 8/22/22 needs a raise!
