I love everything about this restaurant. The service is 5 stars! The staff is always smiling, friendly, and attentive! The sandwiches are delicious and the servings are more than enough. I’ve tried various soups and enjoy all of them but my favorite is their French Onion Soup, absolutely delicious. My kids love the Mac and cheese. My husbands favorite meal here is their Crab Salad Sandwich.

Absolutely amazing brunch spot. Great simple, but delicious, flavorful food. Highly recommend the cream of asparagus soup. Always try and make it a point to stop by anytime I’m in town. Also have some of best pies I’ve ever had. Gotta try the buttermilk pie. Great staff working always attentive and helpful with customers.

They told us they’re famous for the chicken salad on a croissant, so we ordered that plus the salad sampler (Rotini and Penne). The chicken salad was good, the cream doesn’t taste like a straight mayo, it’s more saucy and you can tell they use real chicken. The Rotini was delicious, and the sauce on the Penne was really good. They’re also famous for their buttermilk pie. It was good, has a slight lemon flavor and is thicker than most I’ve had. The show stopper was the Blueberry Cheesecake Cobler. So.damn.good

Very friendly staff, food was delivered quickly. Pies were good, sandwiches and soup average. On the expensive side. Over $40 dollars not including tip for 2 half sandwiches with soup, two drinks and 2 slices of pie. Very busy place!! Based on other reviews expected better than average.

We have been going to the Buttery for years and it is always great. Today the food was great, the young server on the patio was outstanding, but the older woman taking orders and payements was a grouch! If she doesn’t own the place, she needs to find another line of work. She doesn’t seem to like what she is doing now.

Definitely giving this place 5 out of 5, even though the line was long. It’s because their Food is Very Delicious, and that’s why so many patrons! Many options for meat eaters & vegetarian eaters, food was Amazing. Staff was very Gracious and Helpful. Definitely will be back when in the Ruidoso area, thank you 🙂
