The Village Pub is a community-focused restaurant serving robust-American-style-Italian-food. We specialize in from-scratch items, including, great pizza, pasta, appetizers and world-class cheesecake.
Outdoor opportunities abound within a few hours driving distance of the Village Pub, which is nestled in the tiny town of Saguache, a population of 500. Also, several hot springs are less than an hour away.

There are two ski resorts a little over an hour away. Followed up by a good soak, few things are more appealing.

Hot-As-You-Can-Make-‘Em Wings
Wings coated in “death sauce”, this is what the locals refer to the sauce as. The heat of the sauce is exactly as the name implies and requires a waiver to consume these wings.		 $8.50

I’ve only been through here twice, but this place has been on pointe each time. The service, food, and atmosphere are all wonderful. Had a pasta dish on my first visit and the pesto pizza more recently. 10 out of 10! The Husband and I shared a piece of cotton candy cheesecake that was to die for.

Was passing through town and went in for lunch because of the great reviews. Still rating it high despite the extremely long service time. From the time we seated to the time we paid our bill it was approximately 2 hours. 1 bartender handling entire front of house and it seemed like only one cook. The service was slow but the food was very good! We ordered 2 appetizers, italian egg rolls and the sausage cannoli and 2 salads. People seated 30 minutes after us got their food (pizzas) before us. Seems they are understaffed and/or undertrained. Regardless the server was personable and apologetic of the situation. Some better organization and better or more staffing would help immensely. Until they get the service smoothed over, take some extra

Had this place recommended by a local. And I just had what May have been the best pizza I’ve ever had. The Golden Helmet. It’s a huge meal. It’s delicious and ai probably gained five pounds. And it was worth it. Megan was awesome too. And the spinach dip rocks!!!!
