From Philly so I wanted to like this cheesesteak, but roll was burnt completely black underneath. Always enjoy a homemade seeded roll, but this wasn’t good. Couldn’t taste much other than that awful burnt flavor. Shouldn’t have been sent out the kitchen looking like that. Unfortunately I couldn’t address it properly since it was a delivery order. Pizza was excellent with good flavor, char, and chewiness.

Great pizza. Great ingredients. I’m a Frank Pepes guy from New Haven area CT that has ultra high expectations for my pizza. Love violet stone and their chewy dough. I grew up on “well done” pizza that turns your hands black but some of our pizzas from violet stone are just burnt. Burnt in an off putting, pizza ruining kinda way. That’s my Only complaint. One of these pizzas had two pieces that where not good. It seems we have this issue on 3 pizzas out of 10. Will still come here because it’s one of the best that delivers to us for this style of Pizza Napolitano.

Best pizza in St Pete! My husband and I ordered takeout today and wow, this pizza is exceptional. If you don’t like char you may not like it. The pizza was also larger than most Neapolitan style pizzas which makes it a great value for the price. We also ordered the Nutella/bananq dessert pizza thing and it was unreal. My husband said it was the best dessert he’s had, which is saying alot. I couldn’t even get a picture of it because he was eating it so quickly. I don’t think they have seating, so plan to pick up and take home or elsewhere. Definitely recommend and we can’t wait to order again!

I’ve had their pizza a few times but this is probably the last time because the burnt flavor ruins it. I understand it’s “well done” but when I got my uber delivered it was cold and tasted completely burnt. I love that they are local but $21 for burnt tasting pizza is outrageous. I hope they figure it out.

A minute too long in the oven? Ordered The Classic w/Pepperoni & Hot Sausage add-on. Back at home we stared at our pie…then dove in. Most of it closer to the center was quite edible …but the crust was a semi-burnt, jaw workout. Wish all could have been eaten. The good news here is that we enjoyed the flavors. The cheeses, the sauce and the meats were very good quality all around. A bit of fresh basil (strangely not burnt) sure doesn’t hurt. Would try again and request… not well done…and see how it is a 2nd time around? The online ordering it turns out was missing two items..a salad & a cheesesteak. Would have tried the salad. They’re newer in this location so I’m being kinder with the rating.

Right up there with Fabrica as the best Neapolitan-style, wood-fired pizza in St. Pete! Flavorful crust topped with high-quality ingredients, all charred to perfection in their high -temp oven. And yes, I said charred, as this is exactly how this style pizza is supposed to be cooked, with char marks around the edges from the heat of the oven. The pizzaioli of Napoli would be impressed!!!

The entrance was barren and uninviting. The staff were personable and that part was typical to any decent establishment, no complaints there. The pizza (even in photos on google maps) was totally burnt, top and bottom, and probably some of the worst I’ve ever had. I’m here out of the need for transparency. I waited 20-ish minutes for a much smaller pizza than I expected for the price (I paid somewhere around $25 for what I consider a small-to-medium pizza), and about 1/4 as good as the competitors who give much better pizzas and at L or XL size for the same price. For being hyped on social media, this place left much to be desired.

I’m gobsmacked. I’ve ordered the mushroom Philly, and the fried mozzarella, and they are the best I’ve ever had respectively. I can’t believe such good food came out of such a small and unassuming place. I can not wait to try their other menu items. Thank you!
