As most places are, they are short staffed for the amount of customers, be prepared to be patient. We have been there 4 times and the one server does her best but it’s hard to juggle the bar and all the tables alone. Always friendly and food is good.

I was just passing through Harrisburg the other day and my friend recommended stopping by. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the live band was good and funny towards the crowd. I was a little impressed with the cheese steak. Most of the time you get shreds of beef and they try to cook the flavor into the meat on the spot. This one came with giant slices of roast beef and side of fresh fries. It was easily the best I’ve had in months. The experience leaves me excited to see what else they have on the menu for the next time I stop by.

Went in late afternoon. I had the French dip sandwich which was hard to choke down. The meat was all dried out. Spouse had a Hamburger with cold fries. He said hamburger was just OK. Waitress was terrible and rude. As far as atmosphere I really liked the vibe. I liked that it was open and roomie. There was lottery machines for those that like to gamble. Could tell a lot of locals go there. I know quite a few of them. Had the good not been so bad and the service, I would’ve rated it higher. I doubt I will get food there again, but would like to hang out again. And for the record, I have eaten at quite a few different bars and haven’t had the food be as bad as this. Perhaps we came on an afternoon they had a bad cook or the cook was having a bad day? I know several friends who eat the food there And have never complained. That’s why I gave it a 3 star. A star off for the food and a star off for the service

The bartender there I believe her name is Amy, well she rocks, she 100% understands what good customer service is all about, she always make us feel welcome and greets us with a beautiful big smile whenever we come in. I highly recommend all bartenders take a course taught by her they wouldn’t regret it.

The first time I ate at the Voo I had a great experience there enjoyed the cheeseburger w/ homemade fries it just melts in my mouth it’s really good for the price and the server and the cook Meghan are really friendly and nice there. Meghan is a great cook and has a great smile on her face when she brought out my food, Sam is very nice too. Thank you to everyone there and I will return again.
