The Vortex is a 21 and over bar. There are very limited free parking and many more paid parking spots. Seating is fairly tight inside, however, they do have a patio area upstairs. It’s enclosed and less crowded but not as much of the Vortex atmosphere.

This was a very unique experience for me as usually I don’t go out to bar type areas but this place just called out in an interesting way! The atmosphere is really interesting with a good feel of adult humor and welcoming. I guarantee this is a no kids zone as they ID right at the waiting area. Service was really nice and quick even during what looked like a decently busy time! And then the food itself was amazing! I got a burger with Mac and cheese, bbq sauce, and bacon and while messy, was absolutely delicious and worth the affordable price! Would highly recommend it if you’re in the area!

This is an awesome spot for lunch. They’ve got a very good selection of burgers and drinks, and the vibe of the place is just awesome. Decorations/signs everywhere, and the wait staff make it a fun environment. This place is for people 21 and up…even if you’re only going to have food you have to be 21 or older or they’ll ask you to leave. In the hour or so I was there, 3 couples were turned away because one of them was under 21, or they tried to show a picture of their ID instead of the physical ID. I definitely recommend a visit to the Vortex!

Yep, that was good. Cool vibe with great burgers. 21 and up only. These servers will sell you the shirt off their backs! Go the Texas burger with tots. Meat was fresh and juicy, and the balance of the burger was perfect. Parking is a nightmare around here, so be prepared. Check them out when you want a good burger….and no brats running around.

Man VS Food was the first time I heard of the Vortex Yes I wanted to try it every since then. Long story short, I was able to go this past Friday with my better half. It was every thing I wanted and more. For drinks 2 Old Fashions yes I wanted to try it lol Apptizer Muthacluckkn Chicken Wrap must have I mean it right amount of spice the dipping sauce My boyfriend ordered the Pickle Rick Burger the 2 deep fried pickles spares had us like really with that excellently seasoned Steak cooked Medium Well I had the 50/50 it was hittn Steak Chilli and Turkey Chilli. I love a good Chilli oowee it’s filling so don’t underestimate . The atmosphere and the service was on point. Please understand we too home another Pickle Rick meal. I switched up and got the Grill Cheesy Mofo w/ the Killer Tomato Soup I highly recommend if you’re 2️⃣1️⃣⬆️ and you on grown folks stuff go by the Vortex Moreland Ave while you’re out on the town or just hungry
